    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JOHNNY AND HATTIE. This is BY FAR my favorite book of Hayley Faiman's. I have read all the Notorious Devils books and this is the best! Johnny has a lot of issues and Hattie has some of her own and they are sooooo good for each other. He would do anything to make her happy and she makes him better. This book was a good balance for me , I wasn't crazy about some things in books 1 and 4 , esp 4. But I have no complaints here except that its over and I want more! Actually I do have one issue with this---at the very end of the book Hattie makes a decision which I feel is too soon and she is too young for, I would like to have seen that followed up on in a few years instead of right then-too soon! I would love to see a novella for Johnny and Hattie in the future to catch up with them. They are my favorite couple of Hayley's . This book was written in dual POV, which is really the only kind I like. It has a lot of heart and is very sexy!. Highly Recommend .

    Book three from Hayley Faiman's Notorious Devils series is definitely Rough, Rugged & Raw. This is Dirty Johnny's story, he is every thing the title of the book betrays, he also has a sweet side but only certain people see that side of him. Hattie is his leading little lady, she is good girl who Johnny wants to dirty her
    up. Hattie maybe nineteen, maybe a good girl but this character loves her man. I don't want to give anything away but.. Faiman will gives us the way Dirty got his name, his back story that is dark, ugly but she gives him sunshine and beauty which is Hattie. This is a story about two different people that come from different worlds but their souls recognize one another. It's a great story with lots of raw and dirty between the sheets. Happy Reading!!!

    Could not put this book down. " Dirty" Johnny and Hattie are just too cute together. They had scorching hot chemistry. They met 3 years prior when Hattie was only 16, but they each fantasied about one another till they met again. I have to say, I was not too happy with Johnny at moments but I guess that is what I would expect from a man named Dirty. He was dirty, rough and rugged as the title states. There are some things that I think Hattie was a little too young to decide for herself, she needed a little more time to grow up and experience life but when you have a man like Johnny who can blame her. This book had suspense, intrigue and lots of steamy hot sexy times. Hopefully in the future we will get to see more of Hattie and Johnny and see what happens.

    I'm undecided about how much I enjoyed this book.
    PROS:
    I really like the author's writing style. I was pulled into the storyline from the beginning. She does a fantastic job of making the reader feel invested in the characters. I loved how descriptive the "intimate moments" were...very hot.

    CONS
    Basically, Johnny was a total @%$!. He never got his s--- together until the end of the book, and even then I doubted that he was going to be in it for the long-haul. I get that he had demons that influenced some of his behavior, but I couldn't get past his rather porous definition of "lying" and "faithfulness." His wishywashy additude pissed me off especially because Hattie was so trustworthy and she was honestly invested in him and their relationship from the start.

    SUMMARY

    I will try another book by the author. It is my hope/preference that the "hero" is an alpha male who is devoted from the beginning. The couple will undoubtedly have drama and angst, but hopefully the temptation of other women and the ambivalence of relationships in general will not be a running theme throughout the book.

    Dirty Johnny... sigh... I couldn't wait to get to this guy's story. He wants to be a reformed man whore so badly, but has no idea how to go about it. He sees Fury and Sniper with their old ladies and kids, and he wants that for himself too. Problems is, where do you find a good woman to give you all that when you pretty much live in the gutter? Hard to prove yourself. He meets Hattie by chance when she is 16. He helps her out of a bad situation, and is attracted to her, but freaks out, as he should've, when he realizes how young she is. Now it's 3 years later, and they meet again. She is legal now, but he is tripping over their 11 year age difference. In the end, he gives into their mutual attraction. He's got a problem in the fact that her brother is a cop and out to get him in order to protect his little sister. But in the end, he decides to risk it and make her his old lady. And then things start getting trickier. She sees what club life is like and doesn't think she can live with it. He gives it to her straight and doesn't sugar coat anything. Of course we got drama coming their way, and a happy ending.

    Next up, MadDog, Fury's father, and Mary-Ann, Sniper's little sister... 😶

    Rough & Rugged is my first read of Hayley Faiman and I loved every word. This storyline flowed so easily I couldn't walk away from it. Dirty and Hattie should have never been in each other's worlds but they keep having chance meetings. The balance of emotional chaos and mc action is equal. Great read! This may have been my first read of Hayley Faiman but it will not be my last. Can't wait to the next one and I am buying the ones already released.
