Royally Relinquished: A Modern Day Fairy Tale Kindle Edition
His highness, Prince Henrik Stuart, is bound by duty and controlled by the crown. He fears a future chained to a woman of good breeding.
While known as the reckless and wild, prince, the thought of settling down isn't what troubles him. If he could find a woman who cared nothing of his title, but rather cared for the man that he is, he would give her the world.
A weekend trip of fun in Sin City leads to a chance meeting. Both Caitriona and Henrik feel a spark between them, unlike any they've experienced before. To each, the other is too good to be true.
When she said 'yes' to the handsome, green-eyed stranger, Caitriona didn't know that she was stepping into her very own fairy tale.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...except when it's legally binding.

About the author

Born and raised in the Central Valley in California. My husband and I moved to Oregon while he was in the US Coast Guard and then to Texas for ten years before recently relocating to North Carolina. We spend our time with our two sons at all their events, screaming from the stands as they swim their hearts out!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2017This book is such an awesome modern day Cinderella story. I really had a hard time putting it down just to see what direction it would go. Henrik and Caitronia have a crazy whirlwind romance in Vegas. Caitronia has no idea that Henrik is a prince until the crap hits the fan. I love the path to the HEA that was rocky and filled with crazy royal rules. It is definitely a fantasy and probably wouldn't happen in the real world, but isn't that why we read? For a fantasy? I loved the book. It was a great introduction to the author who I will be reading more of.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017Great standalone by Hayley. I loved the story line.... very different from her other books. Another great alpha male who was super hot!!!!! The h was great in this book she never gave into him and stayed strong on who she was. She also never changed who she was for royality and stayed true to herself. I loved that the H was willing to give it all up for his one true love!! Hopefully we'll see more of these type stories from the author.

Royally Relinquished by Hayley Faiman was a difficult read for me. I almost DNF but kept reading even though this story is not for me. Ms. Faiman is a new to me author and from the cover of this book, which is quite good, and synopsis I was intrigued. However, I was disappointed from the very beginning of this book.
The premise of the book is Royalty meets Girl Next Door during a trip to Vegas, drinking ensues and then there’s a marriage by an Elvis impersonator. Sounded like a good story to me, but all this book is bad decisions followed by sex, snarky arguments followed by sex, and sex followed by sex. No real depth to the story, just one bad situation after another. Each solved by sex.
Henrik is a imitation of a prince. Caitriona is a naïve good girl. Their relationship doesn’t have any real substance to it. It’s all about the sex. And while, some of the scenes are hot, most are just a rehash of previous scenes.
I wish I could say nice things about this book, but it just was not for me
- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2017This is much different from the guys Hailey has written about lately, but I absolutely adored Henrik and Caitronia. Henrik and Caitronia have a whirlwind romance when they meet in Vegas. What happens in Vegas most definitely doesn't stay there in his book. I loved how real these characters were. It wasn't an easy path to their HEA, but I loved seeing them fight for each other.

4 unexpected stars
Fairy tales with always have a special place in my heart ~ they keep me young at heart, always the hopeful that the knight in shining armour is just around the corner for all the girls pining for one. So when I heard that Hayley Faiman was writing a fairy tale of her own with a modern twist, I knew I had to read it and find out how she would add her own personal twist to it. A beautiful story about Cait, a woman working at a luxury spa, who knows what riches and luxury gets you but with her salary, she just gets by, having barely enough to pay her bills. Henrik knows what those things buys you and wants to avoid it; a prince, the last thing he wants is to be married off to a woman that he can barely tolerate. So when the two meet and have a weekend getaway in Vegas, the attraction is instant and the chemistry smoking. And whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right? Unless....
4 breath taking dreams
This was an absolute treat. I loved watching these two try to figure things out, to see the possibilities and especially, work through the big chasm that exists between them. It makes me think, albeit very loosely, of The Prince And a The Pauper but with a very sexy aspect, that makes it very worth the read. I believe that this has to be the first time that I've sighed as often throughout Royally Relinquished than in any other novel of this type, and that gives it its charm. Hayley Faiman really knows how to catch you by the heart and hold the emotions at the forefront, and I'm truly looking forward to more from her in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous
Just another fabulous read from this author!!
I cried and laughed and truly just wanted the scream my frustrations. I certainly don’t think I’d be as patient and understanding as Cait.
Loved this book and highly recommend it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I love this author but this book disappointed me. I thought Henrick was weak and Cait wasn't much better. I was hoping the characters would get stronger but that just didn't happen.
