My name is Ruby Moone and I love books. All kinds of books. My weakness is for romance, and that can be any kind, but I am particularly fond of historical and paranormal.     Please read the blurb and don't laugh when you find out the one of the owners of Perdition is Joshua Black, and the ginger lad who grabs his fancy one night is Alexander White. Black and White, yup. And then author Ruby Moone takes you on a ride that will warm your soul and some physical parts of your body.

    If you've read the blurb then you will need to know that there is a huge spoiler I can introduce here involving the mystery of Alexander's desperate need to gamble and sell himself--his need for cash is dropped into the plot so beautifully constructed and with deep love.

    That Alexander's heartbreaking situation manages to touch the heart, and the will, of the usual cynical Jasper Black and threatens to shatter his well-grounded fear of developing a relationship, is handled step-by-step, almost as a shock to Jasper's system.

    Credibly handled, this is a romance that will surprise, and delight you, in many ways. Grab it.

    This is a passable romance between likable characters who never develop much depth or transcend the various tropes used to set up the story. The historical setting feels shallow and often unrealistic, which can be fine for historical romance (especially for those of us who are tired of books where period-typical homophobia is the driving conflict), but it wasn’t offset by enough character development for this to be a standout. Entertaining but ultimately forgettable – though the cover is A+.

    The perdition club seems like a fun place to go, too bad it’s fictional. Aside from that I am loving this series. This book is wonderful from the title right through to the end. Jasper and Alexander start out as perfect for each other as men who want only a no strings relationship and end up perfect for each other even as what that means to the two of them changes significantly. Ruby Moone has written a delightful journey to send these two men on and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a historical romance so you can tell that the ending is going to be a happy one and I don’t want to give anything away but I did find that Ms. Moone has given these guys some interesting challenges to work through that make this such an interesting story. Looking forward to the next book.

    The drunk - Alex White - wakes up naked in Jasper's bed and is surprised to find the grumpy Goliath looking after him.
    What starts is a black and white no strings attached arrangement, until things get complicated; Alex has a health issue, home responsibilities and a brother at war.
    This is absolutely wonderful.
    I live Alex's entire nutty family, his clothing and his spirit.
    It's sexy, funny romantic and sweet.

    The second book in the mini series centred around the Perdition Club, in this one we meet the second of the three owners, Jasper Black and a young, carefree man who confounds him, Alec White. A wonderful tale, once again, and a very enjoyable read. Alec may seem carefree but things at home are certainly not, and their agreement of 'No Strings' is getting hardly to stick to.
