I enjoyed this book. This is my 1st book by the both authors I will check out more of their books. I like when authors write books together. If you like books with vampyres then this one’s for you. Also if you like where the main character stands up for herself and has hope in a hopeless situation you will love this one. Kyella is a thrall. She is not willing but has no choice because her owner is the vampyre king. She longs to escape her reality. Then along comes Kolvar, Elijah and Dakath. They are all drawn to each other. They plan on taking her away. Will they succeed in their new mission?

    Kyella, the main character, is very interesting. Despite being held captive for the past 4 years by the sociopathic vampire king Malakai as his blood slave, she still has kindness and compassion. She's not foolish about who she trusts. She does feel an instant connection with the 3 Lords who are actually spies from another kingdom and they feel the same, helping her to escape. She gets to live and discover who she is and why she's so special. It does end on a cliffhanger, but the rest of the trilogy is out. The writing is good, there are no typos, and although the feelings are somewhat instant, they do work to build a genuine connection (or fight against the pull).

    Didnt take me long to be drawn in and get captivated by Kyella and her guys.

    Eventho it seems like she moved on pretty easy from bwing held captive so long its anything but easy and i love her struggle to become strong and free.

    At first i disliked Elijah so much for him being a stubborn donkey but as the book went on i came to see it for what it was and made me feel sad for him!

    Malakei i absolutely despise hes the worst of the worst and he knew i just know he knew or knows what Kyella is.

    The story is amazing one that shows growth and a path to selflove.

    Kyella is not only beautiful but also strong and doesnt take sh!t from anyone and no matter what her spark doesnt go and i admire that.

    As we get answers so do the question become different and i cant wait to start reading the second book!

    I love these two authors. There combined minds make a truly exceptional book. I fell in love with Kyella from the beginning, she was not what I expected her to be. She is a strong minded women that does not let anything get her down. From the beginning she is a character to admire.
    When she meets her guys though she really begins to shine. I didn't think I would like Elijah when he first entered the book but by the end I could not help but love him.
    This was a fantastic introduction to the series and I will be sat waiting for the next installment.
