TV-XXX (Salty language, Sexual innuendo, Vomit-inducing ultraviolence)
TBA. Pirate transmission.
North America's number one reality television show returns with instant fan favorite Dawn Churchill, a plucky, hometown girl from the irradiated ruins of the former United States. Will she survive the night in the electrified, booby-trapped arena or will one of the serial killers pitted against her come out on top?
Returning slashers include evil animatronic Abraham Lincoln, eight-year-old “Daughter of the Devil” Abadonna, and all-time undefeated champion Denney the Killer Clown. (Plus surprise appearances by mad surgeon Doctor Feelbad, silver-tongued “Charming” Charlie Whitmore, and steel-clawed firebrand Razortooth.)
A night of chills, thrills, and endless buckets of blood. A must-see for Dawn’s innovative use of a shotgun alone. Fun for the whole family!
Host: Mark Winters

- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018Oh, I haven't had this much fun with a book in ages. In fact, I read it when I should have been doing other things (like working lol).
I didn't know what to expect. So much of slasher fiction is heavy on the gore, but authors forget about things like plot and character. Not here! Our authors give you a total package, bloody though that package might be. We have a cast of lovable killers, a woman who simply will not be a victim, and an enemy you want to see destroyed!
While reminiscent of both Running Man and Death Race, the authors have a style all their own. The book is gory, intelligent, and very funny.
I have no idea if there will be a 2nd book but I hope so!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2018wasn't sure i'd like this when i read the plot line but once i got into it? boy-howdy was it a page turner....if you get easily upset with gore than you might as well pass it by because it's got gore and horror and fast paced action
- Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2018This gory book is a lot of fun and has some really memorable characters. The cast of Slashers are well done and quickly upstage the heroine. The tone is pretty close to Roger Corman's Death Race and that is not a bad thing. I am looking forward to seeing what else these writers come up with.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2019One of those books I tore through in one sitting, that is pure insane, violent fun. In a dystopian alternative history, a reality TV game show pits selected “winners” against cartoonish serial killers in an arena battle to the death. Dark satire mixed with outlandish gore make this book can’t-miss for fans of horror that leans more bizarro.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2017Spoiler alerts: while the plot line was an interesting twist on the hunger games-esque dustopian future, featuring some horrific versions of reality TV to the despondent masses....I was very disappointed in the ending. The slashers were portrayed as having a moral compass I.e. killing bad people only usually yet in the end, they decide to become the monsters on the Russian version of this same show, in which innocent people are thrown into a pit and stalked by killers...? Confused by this total abandonment of moral code by Dawn, the main character.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2018Post apocalyptic horror meets reality television. But this is not your standard gory slasher fiction. I generally don't like that stuff, but I loved this book. It has action, a heroine (and a few other characters) you will root for, even a little sarcasm. Highly recommend everything by this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017Fun read. Great pace. Successfully parodies both reality television and slasher film tropes without feeling stale. Fills the bill if what you're looking for is an entertaining, often clever, quick moving read.
