    I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This author brings you into their world and you never want to leave.
    Best to start with book 1 which was also awesome before reading thos, although you don't have to to be able to read this one, many of the characters from the first book are in here.

    This is chocked full of Hollywood magic!! Ian and Madison's story is so full of a sweet high school sweethearts couple that got separated by a misunderstanding and a few years have passed. Ian is now a famous movie star with all eyes on him including Madison's. She gets a job of a lifetime and that includes working very closely with Ian. Tempers flare in this one but it ends on a happy note. Both of them have to come to terms with what they truly want in life and that includes them as a couple. I mean, Ian is on the West Coast and Madison is on the East Coast, how will they make it work and will she be able to leave her salon behind for Hollywood? This was such a fun book to read and I'm really loving the series! I will admit that I'm a bit nervous about the next book since I haven't really got a good read on Erin with the first two books.

    I feel a little bad saying it, but I didn't finish it. I kept getting lost and bored and it wasn't keeping my attention. I remember really liking the first book in this series, but this one and the one with he bartender were just too far fetched and similar to me.

    Madison Taylor is proud of everything she's accomplished as a salon owner in New York, but she's ready for a new challenge. She's not exactly sure what that challenge might be until her best friend Tessa's fiance recommends her for a job on a movie after their makeup artist drops out. Arriving for her first day on the set, Madison is shocked to find out that the movie stars none other than Ian Brock, formerly known as Ian Bowman, her high school sweetheart. She's even more shocked when Ian blurts out that he and Madison are old friends who recently reconnected and started dating. As it turns out, Ian just broke up with his co-star, Annalisa, who can't seem to accept that their relationship is over. With his career depending on the success of the movie, Ian must convince Madison to go along with his fake relationship plan, but there's no guarantee she won't decide to seek revenge for the way he ended things with her in high school instead.

    I really enjoyed Ian and Madison's banter and obvious chemistry, which didn't seem to diminish at all in the years they were apart. I also appreciated that the misunderstanding between them from high school was cleared up relatively early in the story. Their relationship moved rather quickly after that, but given their history, I believed in the strength of their feelings for each other. The problem came when it was time for Ian to return to Los Angeles and he and Madison had to figure out how to move forward when their lives were in two different cities. I was frustrated with each of them at various times for being too stubborn and proud to admit that they were afraid to try again after the way their relationship ended the first time, but even so, I couldn't help rooting for them to reconcile their differences. While I wasn't personally a fan of the grand gesture that ultimately brought them back together, it worked for them, and that's all that really matters.

    Overall, I enjoyed "Stuck with the Movie Star" and would recommend it for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I look forward to the next book in the series.

    It's definitely the kind of book you could see made into a movie. Half way through, Madi and Ian are together so your wondering where the story is going to go from there. His idea of how to win her back would not have been how I would have written it, but for movie, that big over the top gesture would work. It's chick lit but with a LOT of heat! It's the first book I've read by this author, but I'd probably read another.

    Stuck with the movie star is a sweet second chance, fake dating story that had me on a rollercoaster of feels. At times I wanted to jump through my screen and smack both main characters. The next chapter after they sorted out their drama I was swooning. It is so rewarding when an author can take me through so many different and realistic emotions while on their journey to a HEA.

    I will also note that this story had one heck of a a grand gesture that made me crazy! I wanted to scream at him but it totally worked for the characters and their story so I adjusted haha

    Looking forward to checking out more of this authors stories!
