Investiga dos instancias escriturales. Por un lado, explora la máxima respuesta formal de Ernesto Sabato en la ficción sobre aquello que le preocupa. Abaddón el exterminador no sólo es un ambicioso modo de narrar disposiciones al crimen, sino la forma ficcional que investiga a la ficción misma. Planos interconectados, el autor y la autoficción, además, fueron respuestas formales a situaciones existenciales del escritor. Por otro lado, el Nunca Más fue un texto político de gran relevancia y de coyuntura. El Nunca Más fue la escritura inaugural del período del Terror Absoluto. Fue útil en el juicio abierto contra los militares y criticado a la brevedad por la teoría expuesta en su prólogo: la llamada “teoría de los dos demonios&rdquo.


FERNANDO BELTRÁN-NIEVES (Ciudad de México, 1981). Doctor en sociología por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Horror y lenguaje. Un estudio sociológico sobre Ernesto Sabato le mereció el grado con mención honorífica. Realizó estancias cortas de investigación en el Centro de Historia Intelectual en la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, Argentina y en el Department of Spanish & Portuguese en la University of Texas at Austin. Ha colaborado como ensayista o narrador con Destiempos, Blanco Móvil, Crítica (Chile), Constanza Revista Literaria (Barcelona), Revista Mexicana de Sociología, entre otras. Es miembro del Consejo Mexicano de Escritores Independientes y colaborador del Colectivo Arte y Cultura por México. Entre hombres. Relatos breves desde la derrota es su primer libro de ficción.
