    This makes the eighth book I have read by Ms. Andrews and every one has been wonderful. This story of Nick (Santa Daddy) and Hunter was just delightful and I have to say it was beyond scorching hot as well. The whole Daddy/boy angle is something I have been part of from both sides and was done beautifully by the author. As is usual for Ms. Andrews, her characters here are complex and interesting. She always provides incredible backstory for them so you not only get to know them thoroughly but you care what happens to them. For Nick this was especially important in this story because his past explains so much of his thoughts and actions. I loved the fact that we got to see huge development and progress for Hunter with his confidence. There is a scene near the end of the book where Hunter reacts and takes a stand and I was wanting to give him a standing ovation, cuz it is something the Hunter of Chapter One would have never been able to do. Once again Ms. Andrews has crafted a book more than worthy of one read and I look forward to enjoying this one many times in the future!

    Nick, a widower in his mid forties offers to help a friend by filling in for Santa in the local mall and there he meets Hunter a recent college grad looking to make some money during the holidays by taking the job of the Elf at the mall and helping out at Nick's farm. Although they both feel an instant attraction, Nick decides to downplay it and limit his interactions with Hunter due to some misunderstandings. But fate interferes when they get snowed in at Nick's Christmas Tree farm during a weekend and suddenly Hunter finds himself wanting Nick as his "Daddy" 😍😉.
    The passion is sizzling hot 🔥💘and despite the age difference it does not feel like a typical May-December romance. The "daddy" kink is not the usual Dom-Sub type and just feels like a natural development between the two where Nick cares for Hunter in the bedroom but is his equal partner outside. 💕
    Highly recommended holiday read for a cold-snowed-in winter day.

    I thought this was a fun, light, and fluffy Christmas read. Hunter was adorable and very relatable. He overthinks everything and doubts everything about himself. At the same time he desperately wants to do the right thing. The chemistry between him and Nick was hot and sweet at the same time.

    Nick was also a great character. His partner had died years before and Nick closed himself off to the world. But his heart is also soft and he can’t say no to helping out kids. He finds he also can’t say no to the adorable Hunter, and soon finds himself slipping into a role his thougt he’d never play again.

    There wasn’t much of a conflict in the novel, which was nice for a Christmas read. There’s an age gap that’s addressed by other characters, but it’s also recognized that Hunter, while young, is also an adult capable to making his own decisions. If you don’t like age gaps, that might not work, but I do, so it worked well for me.

    Overall, I felt this was a fun and easy read. It was a little like eating cotton candy: fun and sweet, but not much substance. But, for a Christmas romance, I think that’s perfect.

    This worked well for me. A nice kinky Christmas story of two lonely men finding each other.

    I loved Hunter and felt his vulnerability. He hit me right in the feels. I liked that he knew he was his own worst enemy but still couldn’t help it, he was so shy at times but trying to not be. I did wonder about his quick acceptance of being Nick’s boy as he had never even thought about being someone’s boy until then but not enough to take me out of the story.

    Nick was just the right amount of grumpy older man and tough daddy with a soft spot hidden. when he was wrong he admitted it and apologised.

    I've been reading Keira Andrews's work from back when she was still writing fanfiction and I absolutely adore her writing. The depth and complexity she brings to her characters is remarkable. This is just a sweet amuse-bouche of a Christmas tale, but I highly recommend her novels, as well. I won't lie, theoretically, the Daddy/boy dynamic always makes me a little uncomfortable, but that's more because a.) I'm a woman, and b.) my own dad was a real jackass. I love how she handled it, limiting that play to the bedroom and making the two characters 'equals' in the outside world. Her other Christmas shorts/novellas that I re-read every year are: In Case of Emergency, Eight Nights, If Only in My Dreams (a particular favorite) and Where the Lovelight Gleams.

    As with any reader in any genre, I have my favorite authors (and to be frank, M/M romance is about the only fiction I read these days), and Keira Andrews is *always* in my top five, along with Josh Lanyon, Eli Easton LB Gregg, and Summer Devon/Bonnie Dee. Getting that Amazon notification that she has new work out always makes me squee.

    ANYWAY, I said all of that to say: this is well worth purchasing, 5/5 stars, highly recommend. And have a very kinky Christmas, y'all.
