This story was quick and full of fun! I burst out laughing multiple times, which wouldn’t have been an issue except I was reading it in a public place! I definitely got some strange looks, but I was too busy laughing to care! Vampire Santa was a source of much of the fun and songs which will never leave my head going forward. Oh my gosh, I am loving this series! More, more, more, please!

Jane's antics are always highly amusing, but when you add Santa and Mrs. Clause to the mix it makes for a laugh out loud book.

I love that not only does the governor of Texas, AKA Jane's dad, come to visit but Jane's luck kicks up a notch and she runs over Santa...Merry First Undead Christmas!

I loved being able to hang out with Jane, Ethan, and of course Gaston again. We always get a little bit of them in the other books but to get another full book of them was awesome!

This book is part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. The blurb of this story is intriguing, and I can't wait to get sucked into it. This is more like a short story, albeit a quirky one. The premise is far-fetched, but I like including the paranormal characters in a Christmas tale. I didn't find this especially funny, but I saw the attempts in the banter and one-liners. I did love the heroic stubborn females in the story.

We begin this book right, jumping into the crux of the matter with a well-placed sentence from Gaston. Jane is in denial, and we get the city this takes place in, New Orleans, and the paranormals and vampires, as you didn't know from the title, some of the details in this story. It appears Jane and Gaston have an interesting relationship, but she is with Ethan.

This is quite the legend they have turned for Christmas for supernatural beings. The author takes this obscene idea for a story and runs with it. Still, the craziness of the concept is funny. Jane's life is a hot mess. She has a sinful vampire boyfriend, a new vampire charger, and a political, human father to deal with. Mrs. Clause clears things up a little bit and reveals a twisted plot.

I mainly enjoyed this quirky, quick read for its outlandish concepts and sassy females. The author is sure punny in her storytelling, taking full advantage of the play on words. The story was sweet enough, but it gets steamy at the end. It wasn't needed. I didn't want the brand of humor in this book; it was much too forced, but I saw what the author was trying to do.

I LOVED this little look into Jane and Ethan’s life! The holiday aspect added to the story and I stayed up late reading....wondering what was up with Santa. The story moves along at a jolly good pace and easily put me in the holiday spirit. It is full of Santa-isms, puns and Jane’s crazy swear words. Jane is still a spirited gal Who takes all her accidents in stride. This isn’t her biggest but to me it’s the most fun one. I mean who doesn’t want to take a ride on Blitzen??

Overall I enjoyed this look back into Ethan, Gaston and Jane’s undead lives. They are still the same snarky, full of dry humor characters. We even get to see a few others from the series. The story is well written and really put me in the holiday spirit. It is full of holiday laughs and fun. I would highly recommend and not necessary but read License to Bite first since it’s how these characters meet.

The daughter to the sitting Governor of Texas, Jane Devereux may be running a hit nightclub, loving vamp life and her new husband- but driving a high performance car doesn’t seem to be her best skill set

Who knew Santa is a Fae? Apparently, as usual, this is one more potential dramatic scandal Jane needs to talk her way out of.

Dark Christmas Carol Santa is not your typical belly full of ho ho hos

Can they get Santa ready to face Christmas- and prevent a war between the vampires and the fae?

Love the ironic and insightful humor!

While driving Gaston's car Jane loses control and runs over Santa. She is in a dilemma, surely she can't turn Santa into a vampire to save his life? But Gaston insists that she do that very thing. If he dies there will be war between the Fae and Vampires. So turn him she does with hilarious consequences. He seems unperturbed that he is now a hybrid - fae/vampire but he seems to have lost his marbles and keeps bursting into endless Christmas songs but not any versions that we are familiar with. Can they sort this out before they inform Santa's wife, the Fae Queen? Will she be okay or will she declare war? In amongst all of this mayhem her father is about to arrive for Christmas and he still doesn't know that she is a vampire or married and why is her husband Ethan acting so strange? Will it all work out? Another great adventure with our favourite vampires. Great characters, fun and laughter and a great Christmas story.

A superb seasonal story, laugh out loud funny , A brilliantly strange idea of a story with a great lead character who has an unfortunate accident (0r Whoops as she puts it) and runs over Santa Claus a week before Christmas, and has to turn him to save Christmas and prevent all out war. I loved the Harley Davison reindeer, the hilarious Santa Vampire and also enjoyed the slightly more serious second half of the tale when her father arrives. The narration is so much fun, perfect for the characters, a great range of voices and accents make it a joy to listen to. I received a complimentary copy from Storyorigin and am leaving a honest voluntary review.
