    I liked Jada. She is a determined woman who is trying to start her own business and all the stress that entails not to mention that her competition opened right across the street from her. The owner happens to be her EX. She is doing everything she can to try and one-up Dom at every turn all the while still lusting after him.

    I LOVED Dom in this book. He was supposed to be seen as the bad guy in all this, but I can't fault a guy for wanting to follow his dreams. It took him growing up with some hard life lessons for him to realize what and where he wanted to be. I loved the banter between the two of them and how they keep trying to outdo the other.

    This is a sweet read about second chances, friendship, rivalries / partnerships, and at the root of it all... love. Jada Ellis and her ex-boyfriend Dominick Cole both find themselves at career crossroads in their lives at the same time. Somehow fate led them down the same direction of the crossroad-- even physically relocating them across the street from one another. Both opening competing BBQ restaurants in the same small town is not for the weak. These two learn quickly that manning a grill is more enjoyable when it's fueled with good natured competition and burning hot sexual chemistry. Enjoy reading the shenanigans these two get up to together. It's a fun and sexy read guaranteed to heat up a cold winter's night. A must read!

    Jada and Dom dated for a few months but he broke up with her to join the rodeo circuit. Jada quit her job as a caregiver to buy the local barbecue place in Crossroads, Georgia. She could not take losing another of her friends, it was too painful. Her little sister Joss is pregnant and runs her own clothing boutique. Dom left the rodeo circuit and is back in town to start a barbecue restaurant. He also wants to visit his grandfather who has Alzheimers. His best friend Jackson was killed by a bull. Dom feels guilty because he could not save him. The storyline was well written, the characters rivalry was hilarious to read and made me laugh out loud.

    Anything by Em Petrova s reading gold. This is book four in the Crossroads books. Dom and Jada have a history. He left her to follow the rodeo. After tragedy strikes Dom leaves the Rodeo to come back home and open a BBQ restaurant. Unfortunately it was right across from Jadas own BBQ place. Jada had, had enough of loss working in a nursing home, so thought trying her hand at making food for people. Making people happy. But when the rivalry heats up between the two restaurants, the relationship between the two also heats up. Great story. Loved how things worked out. Can’t wait till the next one.

    I love a book about food. This was also a light, sweet, sexy , second chance romance.

    I was really glad that Jada didn't hold it against Dom forever that he left her to return to the rodeo circuit. Lots of times with second chance Romances the couple spend their time trying to ignore their feelings and not touch one another.

    Not so with Dom and Jada. Even through their rivalry, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. They eventually came up with a plan that took them to their HEA on a number of levels.
