    Happiness doesn't come easy for Jalen and Rona. Just when things are looking up, the house of cards comes tumbling down. No spoilers here but I will share a couple quotes to wet your whistle:

    Rona and Jalen go from one tension filled moment to another. She is kidnapped and beaten. He is informed he’s going to be a father by his ex wife. She is drugged and about to be sold as a sex slave. He is arguing with her friend for being around too much. It is a constant roller coaster ride.

    I am amazed that they didn’t rough each other up!

    I really liked how this series started out. The first book was awesome but the second and third didn’t do it for me. I felt like Jalen was only 2 dimensional, sex and arguments. The story had multiple storylines that were left unfinished, like why did the traffickers care she looked at records and who in government got the message to Clay to tell her to back off. I love a good sex scene but this felt like a bad porno with poor dialogue only as an excuse to get to another sex scene. I will say the author can write a smokin hot sex scene though!

    A fantastic action packed conclusion to Ronas story . At the end of book two Rona was abducted from outside Jalens house after finding out that Jalen may be the father to his estranged wife’s baby . After being knocked out by chloroform she comes round with her arms and legs tied on the floor of what seemed to be a cellar . Her abductors were not very kind to her and she received a few beatings from them ,but thankfully she wasn’t sexually abused . When she attempted to escape they drugged her but that caused her to hallucinate she even thought the food was talking to her and the peas were singing to her . In a lucid moment Rona had worked out that she was going to be sold as a sex slave and that there were others also being held in the same building as her . Little did she know that her freind Jenna and Jalen had realised that she’d been abducted using Jenna’s abilities they accessed the dark web and they found out that there was to be an auction and more than likely Rona was to be auctioned to the highest bidder .Rona’s friend Clay was also looking for her but was quite dismissive of Jenna and Jalen’s theory so instead of having the FBI as a backup Jalen was going to have to this on his own ,a decision Clay would come to regret . After her rescue Rona is back to work quickly and continues with her cases and to look for Jenna’s siblings . As the story continues at a pace , Rona not only has to contend with the fact that her murderous father is still on the loose ,but Jalen’s estranged wife still refuses to sign the divorce papers and continues to say that the baby is Jalens and she keeps on avoiding the chance to go for DNA testing to prove paternity once and for all ,and after Clays reticence on believing Jenna & Jalens theory things are quite frosty between Clay and Rona for a time . It certainly makes for a very exciting read , after all the action in the story the conclusion is perfect .
