Saving Them (Wings of Artemis Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 118 ratings

Hey there, I’m Paloma McQueen, and I’m gearing up for the grand finale of my cosmic love saga. Being hitched to the Sandler brothers is like riding a comet through a war-torn galaxy – intense, wild, and totally unpredictable. I’ve promised to stick with my guys through thick and thin, and I’m not just talking the talk. Every battle, every hardship, every sweet win – I’m right there in the thick of it.

But then, bam! I’m ripped away from my loves in a battle gone haywire. Now, watch me go full supernova. I’m crossing galaxies, taking on bad guys, and bending the universe to get back to them. ‘For better or worse’ wasn’t just a vow; it was a pledge to the stars.

So, strap in for this last ride. It’s going to be a steamy, heart-pounding, rule-breaking adventure. Love against the odds, a woman on a mission, and a romance that burns brighter than a supernova – that’s my story, and I’m racing through space to write the perfect ending.

This story just gets better and better and sucks you so far down into it before you realize you’re at the end. Thank goodness I have so many more to read! Epic book in an epic series!

Update: it only lasted half way through the book. But it did take me a couple weeks to get through it. Now that it’s no longer going back and worth I’m breezing through it. So what I’m saying is, just push through it if you’re like me and hate lots of time jumps. I promise it doesn’t last the entire book.

I love this series. I can’t get enough of them. But I hate the back and forth with the time jumps. It jerks me out of the story every time and it’s literally every chapter (at least so far, I haven’t finished it yet). It’s driving me crazy. I hate time jumps and with them this often it’s super annoying. I love these characters though, and the writing and plot are both good so I’m pushing through. But it’s taking me forever to get through the book because of it.

Paloma and the McQueen/Sandler brothers are on a task to take back Sandler space from their father. With traitors in their midst though things don't go as planned. When Paloma wakes up months later and is told some devastating news, she just can't believe that it's true. She's not the same meek and forgiving woman that found her way to the brothers after the sisterhood. She's a woman on a mission and she will stop at nothing to protect those she loves.

We start out this book a year ahead from when the last one ended. Times are looking really bleak for the McQueens. They had been captured by their father and tortured, barely escaping months later. At least, some of them did. Now they are back at the farm with Diana and her family trying to regroup and move forward. We flash back to a year before and see what happened that led them to where they are now. We continue to flip back and forth until we catch up in time and have all the answers. I can't tell you much more than that or it will spoil the first of the book for you.

We get to spend a lot of time with some of our favorite characters from the past books and we get a look into some future characters as well. While the main focus in this book is Paloma and her journey with her men, there is a lot of future build up too. Things are definitely changing at the farm.

I enjoyed this book just like the rest of the series and I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm already in love with some of the characters. Oh and as always, Rebecca gives us plenty of sexy times.

I hope you like steamy scenes because it sure does get hot between Paloma and her guys, Wow! Paloma really grows in this book and really finds her place. This didn’t feel like an ending as much as a beginning. You also get introduced to Waverly, her sister-in-law who is in the next book. So you get an idea of what’s in store for her.

This is the sixth book in the Wings of Artemis series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. There's action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense, twist/turns, enemies/traitors, survival, intrigue, mystery/secrets, surprises, forgiveness, happiness, sadness, family, friends, torture, betrayal, fighting, war, insecurities, romance, passion/lust and love.
This is the second book about Paloma and her husband's (continues from the first book about this character). In this book, Paloma, Tommy, Quinn, Keith, and Clay have been working at trying to convince the people of Earth to defend themselves against Garrison Sandler before he does attack Earth. Because he continues to be a very formidable enemy. And the Evander Corporation is not becoming an even bigger opponent in this war. War has started!
Read to find out what happens. Can't wait to read the next book by this author. I voluntarily reviewed this book and this review is my own opinion.

Paloma is a very strong, very determined woman who frequently ends up in a med machine through no fault of her own. This book opens with Paloma and her husbands leading others towards Sandler Space.

Now this book does a little back and forth with timeline, but it is necessary for the telling.

Paloma once again wakes up from a med machine and she has no recollection of how she got there. She is with two of her husbands, Melissa, Diana and their husbands, and many more on the planet where they took refuge after Garrison Sandler attacked Mars Station.

With Keith and Clay by her side she learns her other two husbands are gone, there is a tape of their execution by their father. Paloma really doesn't believe it, she doesn't feel them gone in her heart. Even after watching the tape twice, she is in denial.

This is just the beginning as we watch Paloma grow, both in determination and strength.

A fast paced page turner that will have you holding your breath more than once. Lots of love, encouragement, simmer to sizzle passion and some pretty cool revelations.

Dark Demise, the next book in this series is on my TBR pile. I think it just got pushed up the list.

A story about love and family. Even though this is a series, each marriage and person is different and unique. They all just want to be left alone, but also aren't willing to stand by while people are hurting.
