    This is another terrific read, by author, Alyssa Bailey. While this book is the next book in the "Safe and Secure" series, it most definitely can be read as a stand alone. Kaden, employed with Reynaud and Associates Security Company, is retired Military Special Ops, and is a lead character, along with Ivy, his girlfriend, who left a year prior, breaking Kaden's heart. Now, Ivy has returned to rekindle the relationship, but brings a heap of trouble with her. It's now up to Kaden, and the rest of the Security Team, consisting of several alpha males, and their mates, to uncover the mystery of Ivy's troubles, and, to keep her safe. I loved the interaction, and the dynamic between Kaden, and Ivy. I don't want to be a spoiler, so I won't divulge the rest of the story. This book has it all; romance, suspense, and definitely, angst. It kept me turning the pages until I, sadly, saw the words "The End". I loved this book, and highly recommend it. I hope that you do read it, and enjoy it as much as I did.

    Ivy is wild carefree and would rather put herself in danger if she can protect her friends. Kaden is a no nonsense alpha male that has no qualms about enforcing his rules when safety is involved. Alyssa never disappoints! It’s worth the wait every time!

    Ivy and Kaden are great in this book! I do think that I’m going to want to re-read the other books in this series and this one hints at a lot of events from them. When Ivy comes back to Kaden, he wants the whole package with her—including her honesty on what is possibly chasing her. His team is more than ready to protect her as one of their own, but can Ivy decide if what she and Kaden have is enough? Especially as she didn’t have the best role models on love growing up?

    While this is the third story in the Safe and Secure series, it will read well as a stand-alone. It does have key players from the two previous books, like Jac and Sharlee Reynard. The story is full of mystery, suspense, danger, action, adventure, secrets, angst, the mob, and then throw in a romance. Kaden and Ivy were in the previous story, saving Jessie, and now it is a year later.

    The story begins with an explosion at the Reynaud and Associates headquarters and the team's shock at what they are seeing. Then another surprise, Ivy Linton is back after a year. Strange that she shows up at the same time.

    “Go talk to your girl. She is definitely one to find trouble if it lingers too long. I hope her appearance doesn’t coincide with this in a bad way.”

    “Trouble does seem to find her, but she never goes looking for it.”

    The story brings Kaden and Ivy back together after a year, and while she is keeping secrets that will eventually come out, the chemistry between them hasn’t changed. Kaden is determined to learn more about why she left and what is happening to her now. He knows she is running, but he needs to understand why so he can do damage control. He’s just glad she knows she could come running to him—but he wants more; he wants her to want to stay.

    “He’d be the man she needed, not the one she thought she wanted.”

    “You ruined me for anyone else.” “He does care about me, I know that, but I cause more trouble than I’m worth. I haven’t been very productive in my life.” “Commitments weren’t her thing—until Kaden.”

    The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly, and it all revolves around Ivy Linton. Now, Kaden and the entire Reynaud team will be working together to take down those who targeted them and those they care about—and that means protecting Ivy. Once Ivy shares a critical piece of information, Kaden and Sharlee must crack the codes. Ivy must learn to trust them and follow their directives to remain safe. Kaden will prove that he is a man of his word and that he is all in this relationship, even if that means disciplining her to keep her safe.

    “Kaden, I’m scared. I don’t want to be, but I am. I feel like I’ve been afraid for so long. I don’t know how to be anything else.”

    “Let me take care of keeping you safe.”

    “Ivy no longer thought of what she could do or would do but what they would do together.”

    The story has many spanking scenes, which are consensual, and the power exchange is always with love and concern. The scenes are never over the top, and the sex is more implied than detailed. The love, devotion, and chemistry between this couple make this story so emotionally beautiful.

    “You are mine, Ivy Linton, and I cannot live without you. Please don’t make me.”

    Wow wow wow book 3 is packed full of excitement, action, love, laughter, you will cry with the emotions , hot and sexy alpha men and clever , sassy ladies who love these men big time.
    I'm a big fan of this amazing Author and love this series from book 1. The series is going from strength to strength. When you read about these characters, how them form part of a security team and how the all become protective big brother's to each of the girls and the relationship with his own girl, you keep turning g the pages to find out more. Once you start reading the books you can't put them down. A must read series and can't wait for the next book xx

    Once I got into this book I really enjoyed it, but it did take me a couple of chapters to warm to the tale, so if you are feeling the same way when you begin the book I advise you to stick with it and let Alyssa Bailey work her magic!
