    USA Today Bestselling Author KD Robichaux wanted to be a romance novelist since the first time she picked up her mom's Sandra Brown books at the ripe old age of twelve. She went to college to become a writer, but then married her very own alpha and had babies. Putting her dream job on hold to raise her family as a stay-at-home mom who read entirely too much, she created a blog where she could keep her family and friends up-to-date on all the hottest reads.     Have you ever read a book and thought to yourself ... these secondary characters need their own book? Kayan and Z who were originally introduced to readers by Aurora Rose Reynolds in Until July were those characters for me. When the 2019 Happily Ever Alpha World books were announced I waited with baited breath to see if my wish would be granted. It seemed like a excruciatingly long wait. Then one day up pops a blurb for Scary Hot! My wish had been granted! Yet the question remained, was I destined for crossover series disappointment? I'm thrilled to tell you I was not disappointed after finishing this incredible book! I was ecstatic! Scary Hot exceeded my expectations!

    It takes a masterful storyteller to be able to seamlessly mesh two literary worlds together and let me assure you that KD Robichaux is a master! The way in which she weaves the tale of adventurous Kayan and alpha, romantic Z is phenomenal! Scary Hot is told from the POV of two well-developed complex characters brought together by circumstance and united forever by the bonds of true love. The smooth connections between the two series provides Until Her series fans with a look at the evolution of the relationship between July and Wes from a new perspective. This book is extraordinary and a must read for fans of Aurora Rose Reynolds and KD Robichaux alike!

    When I read until July, I really wanted a Z and kayan story. I stumbled on it yesterday and was so excited. I fell in love with the small bits of them I got while reading about July and wes. This was everything I wanted and more. Z was so amazing and just an all-around great guy. Kayan was a little frustrating in the beginning, but I loved her once she accepted that they were happening. If you're reading this, just stop. Right now. Get this book and read it already!! I promise you'll love it, especially if you love the Until series.

    So... Kayan and Z is one story that I've been DYING for. For real. When I first finished Until July, I was wondering when their story was going to come out... AND IT'S HERE!
    Unfortunately, it didn't hit its mark with me.
    I felt like I already read 75% of the book because it all happened in Until July... I really wouldn't have cared but it didn't go into more detail or expand the scenes or anything. I would've like more. A lot more. And I didn't get it.
    What I did get, I liked. This is my first KD Rob book and I'm looking forward to going into her backlist and checking out her other books!

    This book was just as amazing as I knew it would be!!!!! This novella is not only part of the Club Alias series, but also part of Aurora Rose Reynolds Happily Ever Alpha World, and ties in with Until July, but is told from the point of view of Kayan and Z. Don't get me wrong, it's a stand alone, and you don't have to have read Until July first to keep up, but some of the events are the same in both books, just told from a different POV. I've read both, and it isn't like re-reading the same story. It's like getting a fresh perspective on a story you've already heard!

    With a cover this hot, the bar was set pretty high for this story. Taking into account that this author has put out some amazingly HOT books in the past, and the ARR books are known for their "Boom", I would say that this book fits in well with both series. I devoured this book in one sitting, as soon as it hit my kindle, and I have to say, it was everything I hoped for. The combustible heat I love from the author, and the "Boom" that is expected from the Happily Ever Alpha World. It's absolutely the best of both worlds!

    I just love KD Robichaux’s writing! She has a little bit of everything in all of her storylines. Kayan and Z had me laughing through their witty banter and sassy back and forth arguments! They were sweet and sexy with a dash of badass! Her hero’s are always sexy alphas and protective but big old teddy bears inside, and her heroines are sassy, sexy and able to hold their own! This was a sweet quick read and I loved it!

    I always wanted to read Z and Kayans story after reading Until July and this book did not disappoint. I loved how it overlapped with Until July. Z is one sexy alpha man who is super protective of Kayan who is so head strong but shy at the same time. They have both got damaged pasts caused by there parents but all they needed was each other. This is a great story that will make you want to read Untill July again.
