Scot Free (Star Sails Book 2) Kindle Edition
The SS Falcon limps along to the planet Venid. The builders or Venidren are at war with a malevolent species of aliens called the Draken. The Venidren have built powerful androids to fight for their freedom.
The Falcon is returning one of these androids back to the builders in the hopes that this small gesture might bring them an exchange of supplies and resources to rebuild their ship.
They are running out of time to get back to Earth. But are these Venidren as benevolent as the android on board the Falcon has led them to believe, or are they being set up for servitude or worse?

About the author

Ever since I was a little kid I used to fly around my backyard pretending I was a Jedi Warrior or Federation Captain. When I say fly I mean run around pretending I was in a space ship.
Me and my friends used to take wooden rulers and paint and draw elaborate controls on them and these were our joysticks. We had X-wing fighters and USS star ships and we would spend hours exploring alien worlds and getting into dog fights. The good guys always won.
When I got a bit older I started to absorb everything I could about vampires, going through my own goth and vampire stage. I loved how cool they were and how they were sort of like super beings or demi-gods.
Not even werewolves could outfox vampires. These mysterious blood suckers were lurking around every dark corner of night, just waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims.
And so now I write both science fiction and vampire horror stories because I still can't control my active imagination. I hope you enjoy my humble offerings. You can reach me at sylyntstorme at gmail dot com.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2017I suppose this story is to explain how the android, Scot Free, was acquired. Confusing start but then everything is made clear.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2013I've been trying to purchase the second book of a series when I have read the first for free hoping to give the author a fair shake in the deal. This story is just too contrived and predictable to truly be enjoyed but the story line has some interesting elements. At this point though, I wont be continuing the series.
