About the author

I am RyAnn. I have a daughter and husband. I wrote my first poem book when I was young. I finally got it published! Now I am working on many more books. I really enjoy writing poem books but have found a new love with children's books. I get the inspiration from all the wonderful children I have in my life.
I started writing children's books after many failed attempts to read books to my child. She is so hyper. The books I was trying to read to her were too long and I could not finish the story before she started trying to flip the pages, trying to take the book from me, stopped listing, or started trying to do something else. So I started writing smaller books for children who are really hyper, have ADD/ADHD, or are just trying to learn how to read. These short books will be easy for children learning how to read, to read by themselves. It won't take them hours of sitting to read it. They will be so proud of themselves when they say, I have read my first book all by myself.
Thanks so much for viewing my page.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2014This picture book is exactly what preschool-age children love! I have taught preschool for ten years, so I know ! I liked the easy- flowing text and pictures... it works to grab children's attention and mine, too. This is a nice book that isn't full of scientific explanations fit for older kids but it is one to read with younger ones and may spur on an adventure exploring the wonderful outdoors !!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2014This book would have been much better if it simply talked about the seasons. Or what kids like to do in each season for example. But when you include a specific character but do not offer even a glimpse of this character, then it becomes a failure. What is the character in the book? I would call it a ghost character. Other than that the photos are nice, though I am not sure if the images are not just pulled out of the internet. I can conclude this by the different quality in the photos (some blurrier than others).
If this book did not include an invisible character I would have given it 4 stars, because it is educational and the photos chosen are nice. But right now, I wouldn't.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2013This paperback or kindle book is aimed at the preschool market. There are some pretty black and white as well as color photographs. It explains the change of seasons through pictures and activities that a young child may enjoy. I think the book might have more impact if a child were included in the photographs. Young children will get the idea if the text is read aloud while pointing to the pictures, but the book has no real story line.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2013Ryann hall is the best ever, she's not only a good writer she is also my friend. I have three of her poem books and I love them all. she wrote one poem for me. I could ask for a better person than her for a writer and friend. Thanks Ryann for the person you are your friend Malanda Stanford
- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2014Description of Kayleigh playing during the seasons, but the reader never learns who she is. At first I thought it was a cat or dog since their photos are included with lovely pictures of the seasons. But then we read that she goes out in the snow with her doggy, so I guess she is a little girl. It's a shame that a photo of Kayleigh was included on the first page, even if it was just the back of her.

4.0 out of 5 stars A sweet, simple little book, with some beautiful photographs in.
I really enjoyed the stunning colours in the photographs of this book. With short bursts of text in between these vivid pictures, this book discusses the patterns of the seasons as viewed by one little girl with regards to her outdoor activities. The pictures are sure to grab the attention of little ones, and the cyclic patterns of nature are simply driven home by the accompanying text.
