Hey I'm Natasha and I love stories. I love to read them, to watch them and most of all I love to write them. I find people endlessly fascinating and frustrating, which makes for the most interesting stories!

I also love politics and true crime so in addition to writing romance, I also write political satire. It has been my dream to make a living as a writer since I was a kid and got lost in Judy Blume, The Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High (is my age showing?!?!). When I'm not writing I can be found engaging in one-sided conversations with Rachel Maddow, singing very loudly very badly and trying out new recipes from around the world.

I love to laugh, I gave my husband a sappy pet name and I think answers to most of life's dilemma's can be found in an episode of Dawson's Creek.

My first series, Mustang Prairie, is small town romance because I feel they offer a variety of fun characters whose lives are interconnected. It is based loosely on my college town, which was the smallest town I've ever lived in...Go Panthers!

As a die-hard political junkie many of my stories contain some element of politics or public policy because nothing gets the juices flowing like a passionate debate!

Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, I've lived from one ocean to the other in the U.S. and just about everywhere in between, and I call Germany home for now. I'm quite sure where we will end up next but it could be London, France, Croatia, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark or Johannesburg. I love to travel--except for airports--and to observe the world with my best friend and husband, who sometimes can't tell if I'm talking to myself, the TV or my characters.

    Second Chance eX-mas was my first read by author ND Jackson and it won't be my last. It's a second chance love story between Ally and Archer, and has a wonderful slow burn feel.
    Jackson has a knack for storytelling and creating quirky, memorable characters in the lovely small town of Blissful...in fact she had me from the description of a blue house with multicolored shutters!
    The real star of this book for me was Glory, which probably wasn't the author's intent...but nonetheless, she stole my heart.
    In all, a delightful read!

    I really liked the story. What I didn't like was the mistakes and lack of continuity, i.e., a lady in the town named, Maggie May all of a sudden became Meggie May. The daughter was 5 and the dad left six years ago, which makes sense, until the writer wrote about Archer being gone for a decade. A decade is TEN years! Other minor mistakes of wrong words or pronouns drove me crazy. Glad it was a free Kindle book.

    If you are looking to read a good second chance magical Christmas love story, then this book is for you. This is not my first book by N.D. Jackson and it will not be the last one either. Her attention to detail is what makes this story on my list of books to read. This story is about Archer and Ally. They were a couple and then they broke up. Archer moved away and Ally stayed. Archer came back to town because he knew what he did was not right and truly not the decision he did not mean to make. Can Archer use the Christmas magic to help get back with Ally? Does Ally want Archer back after he had left her in the past? I highly recommend reading this book.

    I sincerely enjoyed this story. This is my third book by this author and I'm loving each of the books I've read more and more and she has become an automatic one click for me.

    This was a second chance romance that takes place during the holidays and gave me everything I wanted in a Christmas story. I must say I loved all the characters in this book but my two favorites were Cindy and of course Glory. I loved Ally and Archer and loved their story but it's the first time I think I've ever read a book where the secondary characters really made the book for me.

    I read this book in less than an hour and a half and really was sad when it was over, I had fallen into total “bliss” while reading and really felt like I was right there watching it all play out.

    I highly recommend picking this one up if you're looking for a feel good Christmas story. This one has it all.

    Can't wait for more from this author.

    What a feel good book! This book was the epitome of a “second chance” novel. Second Chance Ex-Mas is a book written by N. D. Jackson. Ally is a single mom trying to build her business from the ground up. The only problem is that Glory, Ally’s daughter, keeps trying to find out more and more of her father. Archer left home and the only girl he’s ever loved. Ally. Now, he’s home and looking to rebuild what was broken. There is one big problem though and hopefully he can win Ally back. This story was so cute and so heartwarming. I loved the characters and how well they worked together. The steamy scenes were excellent. They give you the right amount of imagination to keep you hot. This is not a long book but, it flowed so perfectly that it worked really well. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves second chances and holidays. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

    Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson so much packed into so few pages in this Glorious five-star read. Ally has everything how she wants it, she is working hard, but doing good work. But there is always the one who got away, would you ever be able to extinguish that old tiny flame? As it may be tiny, but its ultimately very strong. Then you have Archer, who is strong and tuff and has been fighting but now he may need to fight harder than ever. This was a great story, short and spicy and filled with festive spirit.

    This was an enjoyable quick read. The author did an exceptional job making the characters come to life, and making me feel like I was along with them in this charming small town. This is a wonderful holiday read and hopefully there is enough holiday magic for Ally and Archer to get a second chance at love and happiness. Even though this is a quick read it never felt rushed or or like you missed out on anything. There are some wonderful characters in this book. This is a must read to get all those feels you look for in a good second chance romance story. I will definitely be reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book.

    Second Chance eX-mas is a heart-warming second chance romance by N.D. Jackson. Second Chance romance is something Ms. Jackson does incredibly well- and this book is a great testament to that fact. I have read Ms. Jackson’s Mustang Prairie series, which I really enjoyed- so it was a given that I would be diving into this story too- as I love second chances- and I knew Ms. Jackson would deliver on the promise held in the synopsis.
    Ally and Archer were well on their way to a happily ever after, everyone thought so, especially Ally- until Archer left, without ever looking back. After years away, he finally returns, regretting what he’d left behind, and shaking up Ally’s world. When a steamy encounter rekindles the flame that burned between them, will they take a chance on love- or will the past hurt be too much to move past, no matter how hot their chemistry burns.
    This is an enjoyable standalone story- with a steamy second chance/ holiday romance, with emotion, a touch of Christmas magic, fun, family- and being a novella makes it a quick and easy read.

    There is something about the Christmas season that makes romance so much better. Loved this story, although I kind of wish the mfc was a little more harsh on the mmc given their history. Still enjoyed it though, it's a great way to spend an hour or so.
