    The story Secret Redemption: Fortis Security Book 4 by Maddie Wade is a thrilling/mystery romance book. This is an awesome book the I loved reading. It is a story that has action, danger, and romance all in one. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and who would survive. This is also a story that had my heart melting as I was hoping for the two main characters of Zack and Ava to find their happy ending. These two have a history/past together. It is one that unfortunately left Ava with a broken heart. Zack now finds that Ava needs to be protected, to be kept safe. He is also seeing Ava as part of his future. Can Zack convince Ava to trust him with her heart again? Ava is a smart, beautiful woman who knows how to stand on her own. Being so close to Zack has brought back all the feelings that she had and still has for him. Will Ava act on those feelings and let Zack back into her life and her heart? Does she see him as part of her future? This couple has amazing chemistry and they have deep feelings for each other. I loved reading about how they interact and banter back and forth with each other. There are quite a few other characters in this story as well. Most of them are the men and women that work at Fortis, their families, and loved ones. This team is more like a family and care deeply for each other. When one needs help the others always step up to assist. There also is a lot of drama that happens within the group. There are also those who have their own agenda and evil plans that they are putting in place. They don’t care who they hurt in order for their plans to be successful. Can Zack and his team thwart those plans? This is the fourth book in a series and I can’t wait to read the next one. I also plan on going back and reading the first three as well. This is an author who is an awesome storyteller and has created amazing characters. This book does include scenes of violence and other mature content. I would recommend it for those 18 years of age or older.

    Zack Cunningham is the former SAS operative and Owner of Fortis Security. There main mission has been to bring down the Divine Watchers and stop them from trying to take over the world.

    When one of his agents turns on them and targets Ava, there's nothing he won't do to protect her and her son. He can no longer hide and pretend that all he feels is lust when his protective instincts are this all-consuming must protect at all costs. He is responsible for the lives of many but none more important then Ava. He finally understands the pain and suffering his fellow team members who have lost loved ones because of the Divine Watchers. He saw it in their faces every day but now he feels it and his soul.

    Ava has no doubt that Zack will keep her safe but she knows that in order to protect herself and her son she's going to have to tell Zack the truth about the secret she's been hiding for the past couple of years. She knows that she's never going to love anyone the way that she loves him, she's just praying that he forgives her and understands so that they can find a way to get along and do the right thing going forward.

    I highly recommend reading the series in order that way you don't miss anything. There's always a twist and turn. Her characters are like a close-knit family​ you want to catch up with at Sunday dinners. They are funny, caring, and full of spunk. Each book just gets better and better and leaves you wanting more. What an ending she gave us, can't wait to see what happens next.

Watching zack with Riley was heart breaking and so adorable at the same time. Loved this story. And there were so many ups and downs. Poor zin. Thank hod that was cleared up quickly but then to be hurt and push people away to protect them. Ugh. Hopefully Celeste and him are ok. Then there is Roz and kanan. She is badass and loved how she was when zin was in the hospital. The glimpses into the other side and seeing smithy make me think Lizzie is still alive and I hope for their sake she isn’t harmed or more damage done or there will be hell to pay. Can’t wait.

    Zack had finally realised that he needed the help of someone in his past. Ava was angry how thing left, because she truly loved him but what her the most was he never called her back after having a great time together 3 years ago. When she came to help she had no idea that it would take so long so she left her "family" behind and wasn't going to tell Zack but of course trouble came knocking and was shock to find out. During the fight to keep everyone safe he now had to come realise he was in love.

    Secret Redemption is the fourth book in the Fortis Security Series by Maddie Wade. This is my first read from this talented author and it certainly won’t be my last. This can be read as a standalone, but after reading it I am really intrigued by the rest of the team, so now I HAVE to read the other stories that came before this one. I think I probably would have enjoyed this book even more than I did, if I had read the other books first. I am definitely going on a one-click spree now and getting all the other books, to read ASAP. This is a romantic suspense- with drama, action, adventure, danger, thrills, intrigue, mystery, and their very survival at stake. From the first page, until the last word, I was hooked- I read it in one sitting and loved every word.
    This story centres on Zack and Ava. Zack Cunningham is the leader of the Fortis team, he’s strong, determined, and very capable- a swoony alpha male type. He takes his responsibility as team leader very seriously and will do everything in his power to keep everyone as safe as possible.
    This story sees the team pitted against the Divine Watches and their twisted plans. When the team is betrayed by someone with a hidden agenda, and Ava is targeted- Zack will do whatever it takes to keep her safe!
    Ava and Zack have a history, that left Ava with a broken heart. Being around Zack has old feelings resurfacing- but Ava doesn’t just have herself to consider, her little boy’s well being is the most important part of any decision she makes. Can Zack convince Ava to allow him back into her heart? Will Ava learn to trust Zack with her heart again? She has a secret that will need to be disclosed- what happens when everything is revealed? Will they thwart the bad guys and keep everyone safe?

    I loved Ava and Zack, they are really great characters. They were interesting and extremely likeable. Their chemistry sizzled off the pages and made for some red-hot reading.
    The author held the tension at an elevated level throughout the book and kept me guessing most of the way through- she expertly added twists and surprises that ramped the story up a few notches.
    I can’t wait to read the next book!

    The Divine Watchers are ramping up their efforts to destroy The Fortis Crew and the mayhem they ensue will leave you gasping! Zack is the hardarsed boss who is constantly under pressure trying to contain and defeat the Divine Watchers with his team of ex military (some with added gifts) highly trained soldiers , then his ex lover Ava drops a Bombshell and Zack has even more to lose....

    Ava is sweet, strong, fiercely independent and guarding a secret that is a total game changer, how will Zack react to her news? Should she even tell him? Will he figure it out himself? All valid questions that beg answers!!

    With all that's going down in the story, with the external battles the Crew are fighting they are also trying to cope with betrayal of one of their own which throws the team into turmoil and causes some internal bickering....not what Zack needs!

    Secret Redemption as well as being edge of your seat exciting is humorous, sexy and even made me shed a tear or two...it's everything you want when you pick up a good book.

    Maddie Wade has once again enchanted me with this series, I genuinely love these books and the characters I can't recommend them highly enough.
