    The poems tug between themes of love and hate, one life and other lives, and happiness and sadness. Many a brave write can be found, and “use me how you wish” is genius! The poetry comes across as seasonal, starting with summer, and tie together well with a strong ending that includes some witty drink names.

    Every once in a while, I'll encounter someone who tells me that they don't think they'd be very interested in poetry. Which is totally fine! Everyone has different preferences regarding reading material. However, if the above-mentioned person was willing to give poetry a try, Secret Whispers would likely be the first poetic volume that I'd recommend.
    I don't think I've ever read a poetry collection that so hypnotically pulls you into a unique and vibrant world. These are words that you can get lost in. Much like life itself, it will be a dark and heart-wrenching journey at times, but you will emerge stronger and wiser than before.
    If you love poetry, you'll definitely want to treat yourself to this book! If you're unsure of how you feel about poetry, or haven't really read any yet, don't let that stop you! You may find that Secret Whispers is just the introduction you've been waiting for.

    I am not a great reader of poetry as I find most authors try to show how clever they are with words rather than entertain the reader.
    This collection had me enthralled from start to finish. Dark, light, emotional, evocative, and truly spellbinding. In some ways, it felt like I was reading a novel but one where I was allowed to make up the story. Small vignettes that seemed to link into each other as though they held a mystery that only you could try to fathom.

    This has been exquisitely planned and presented. There are three sections, the Light, which is delicate light imagery, whimsical words, great alliteration - haiku, which was my personal favourite - and then dark, which were darker poems with a stacatto pace and a sharp bite.
