Secrets & Seduction Kindle Edition

3.9 out of 5 stars 1,370 ratings

As an omega, I was born with one purpose: to be bred by a pack.

The issue? My first heat hit early. Confused and afraid, I took a big risk to relieve the pain, but it broke all the rules and cost me a piece of myself.

Nobody wants a used omega, but if I don’t mate a pack, none of my sisters will be able to either.
So when a wealthy pack of strangers puts in an offer for me, my family is quick to send me packing, all the way to the land of the midnight sun. Alaska.

Archer, Miles, Noah, and Ben are everything that should make my heart flutter. They're kind, attentive, and they worship me like a goddess.

My body is built for them, to crave their knots and give them offspring. They say they want to give me everything… but what if I have nothing left to give?

Get ready to meet the Steele sisters in the Bonds of Steele omegaverse series world. Each book is a standalone and can be read in any order. Secrets & Seduction features sweet, protective men, a shy, reluctant female lead, and smoldering-hot knotty times. Please read the author’s note for possible triggers.

This is the new, expanded edition with 10% more story. Enjoy!

Sweet Omegaverse!
5 out of 5 stars
Sweet Omegaverse!
Secrets and Seduction is book one of the Bonds of Steele Omegaverse series of standalones. This book is what I would consider a sweet omegaverse with cinnamon roll alphas and a broken omega. Violet made a huge mistake that resulted in putting her future at risk. With a mother who only cares about prestige and appearances, she is left with only one choice…to take on a pack she’s never met. Will they still want her after they find out her secrets? But Pack Muldoon has secrets of their own. Can they get past the lies and betrayal and keep their pack together? I absolutely loved this book! It has angst, secrets, betrayal, heartache, and spice that ends in a happily ever after! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series and learn more about the Steele sisters!

I love me a good omegaverse! I really enjoyed Secrets & Seduction. It had elements I was not use to in an omegaverse book, so I was very interested. I could not put this book down, only when I HAD to put it down to adult.

Violet is strong, and not in the way many are thinking. She has had to be when unexpected events happen. The Alphas don't seem quite like a full pack, like its there, but not totally until Violet comes along. Also, there are a lot of secrets that come out in this one, and some shocking revelations. I do love how it ended, but wish there was more!

I went into this one blind and I do not regret it. There are warnings with this one that could be a bit triggering, so make sure you are aware of those going in. It is a standalone, which is always nice.

I am excited for the rest of the Steele sisters.

I enjoyed this book alot. Violet is an Omega with a big secret. Her mother won't let that stop her from getting her mated. Miles just does what ever it takes to get her. They head home to Alaska. The rest of the pack consists of Archer, pack leader, Ben and Noah. But there is turmoil and secrets. So many secrets. Will it tear the pack apart? Very nice book.

This is the first book in a shared world series. Wish we could give half star ratings because I just couldn't bring myself to four star the story it wasn't that terrible. This is Violet's story. She is the eldest of the Steele sisters and I think a great job is done with introducing characters that we will see throughout the series. The story was interesting but I was just not as completely absorbed bas I wanted to be. The characters all have defects that WILK eventually come out and that interferes with the bonding process but I didn't feel the chemistry between Violet and het men all that much. I wish I felt more angst over their secrets. I still recommend you give this story a chance because you nay disagree with me. This was my first book by this author but I'd be willing to try more and will definitely read the feast of the stories in this shared world.

First, I want to start this by saying, I read the prequel first, Omega's Secret, so I felt better going into this story. Second, I want to point out that for a lot of the reason's people rated this book low, are reasons I rated this book so high. So let me explain :)

One of the things I really liked about this book were ALL THE DAMN SECRETS and I kept finding myself thinking...if they would just communicate...they just need to communicate. But I still liked watching it play out. I have read A LOT of Omegaverse that want their omegas pure, won't let their omegas have their own thoughts, want them entirely submissive etc etc. In most of them, shoot, one book I read the Omega was SA'd by an alpha and got pregnant outside of heat, and it was one of my favorite Omegaverse I have read. And SHE WAS SHUNED BY HER FAMILY. She was blamed for it. It is not far fetched to believe that the Omegas in the Bonds of Steele Omegaverse do not get a fair shake. Violet and her sisters undergo years of mistreatment and oppression, so her reactions make sense to me. As a social worker, I have seen this in real life with clients. So, again, this behavior from not only Violet, but all the guys, does not seem that far of a stretch and I love them all for that.

I did find the new take (at least new to me) on the fact that she got pregnant by another Omega to be interesting. I do hope at some point that gets explored more. I do feel this book opens a lot of possibilities for other more progressive stories to follow Violet and her Pack. Hoping to learn more as we go. I liked all of their secrets and how it affected everyone's decisions over time. It is almost like you could feel their collective release of breath when they finally let all the weight off.

Secrets & Seduction was a quick and easy afternoon read that is the start of the shared Bonds of Steele series. Violet was a lovable FMC as she is level headed and more mature than some other characters you can read. With a little bit of a drama and a good bit of steam, I found myself enjoying this book!

Omegaverse is on of my favorite genres (tropes?) to read, so I know that insta-love is pretty common in omegaverse books. Which I’m normally ok with, but the insta-love in this book felt more like it stemmed from Violet being an omega and the guys being alphas rather than it stemming from genuine feelings.

Violet didn’t have much of a backbone, but when you have a mother that hardcore emotionally abuses you for the last 3 years because of one mistake, what can you expect I guess? Now, the guys. Noah and Ben were my favorites. Archer and Miles didn’t really win me over, but I think that has more to do with the fact that their journey to forgiveness and earning back the trust of others was kind of skipped. The amount of secret keeping added a small level of angst between everyone since we didn’t really know too much about everyone’s backstory. If you’re looking for a quick, slightly angsty omegaverse read, add Secrets & Seductions to your TBR!

The relationships between the characters was underdeveloped. We really got no scenes that showed me why violet should... or even I should, care about the leading men.

Also, I'm pretty angry about how the adoption story line went. Like, this girls baby was stolen from her and it's OK that this new family just gets to keep her? Nah man, adoptee trauma right there. And no closure on the terrible mom.
Maybe in one of the next books?

Idk that's why I'm conflicted, I want to read the next one to see if there is improvement in story development and flow... and I have to assume mommy dearest will be a plot device in the rest of the series.
I'll give the next book a shot, and make my final decision after that.

Will there secrets destroy them or make them stronger...
Violets mother is not happy, how dare Violet do what she did , Violet brings shame to Sage's name.
Violet didn't have a choice but now she must stay quiet and let her mother call the shots...
Will Violet be able to find her pack and will the secrets be too big, will she loose everything even before she has a chance to truly live...
Secrets & Seduction was a well written book that I found hard to put down 🥰🥰

I don’t think the cover of this book does the story itself justice as violet is nothing like the cover.
Brilliant and amazing start to the series. Violet’s story is unique, got its own quirks and some interesting twists that keep you entertained throughout.

This was a relatively quick OV read with, for the most part, super gentle and loving alphas and a reluctant to bond omega. Very inst-love and low angst apart from the whole secrets thing. I liked that it was multi-pov as seeing inside the guys heads really helped the story make sense

    3.5-4 stars.
Nice enjoyable easy read. Low spice (quite a few scenes but not too detailed). The ending is beautiful and perfect.

I struggled deciding on a star rating because it is good but the story just needs that something more but I'm not sure what, maybe more angst or building of their relationships. I feel like I'll forget it really easily but at the same point I couldn't put it down and read it pretty much in one go.

Not too bad. A few crazy thoughts from the guys with ref to Violet. It didn't keep me all the way through, as I broke and kept away before coming back.
