Seducing Mrs. Robinson (A Bro Code Standalone Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 667 ratings

We've all been there, some more than others, you know what I'm talking about, where you have the hots for the new business teacher.

I was one hundred percent that guy. I shamelessly flirted with her my senior year, only earning her irritation more and more. On graduation, I stood up to her husband after he got violent, and I'll never forget the look in her eyes when she told me it wasn't my place.

Fast forward to my senior year of college and what do you know, the new adjunct professor is the one and only Mrs. Robinson, she's eight years older than me and smoking hot. Did I mention divorced?

She looks at me like I'm trouble, and I'm only happy to deliver on that promise. I'm going to show her how a real man treats a woman and use every weapon in my Pleasure Pony arsenal to do it.

Go big or go home.

I am a lover of Rachel Van Dyken's writing style and all of her books, so I knew going in I was in for an enjoyable ride, and I was not disappointed! Seducing Mrs. Robinson was a book full of angst, and seduction and one I was truly unable to put down. I read it in one sitting and when it was over, I wanted to read it all over again! Leo fell hard for his high school teacher his senior year, but he knew nothing could come of it, even after his heroics to "save" her on graduation, she was always the one who captured his heart, even if she never gave him the time of day, except to reprimand him and ignore his advances, flash forward four years, and low and behold she is now his professor and the tables have turned. She needs his and his friends help at Wingman, Inc. to help find herself again after a horrible relationship, and the sparks that Leo felt all those years ago are still there, but now he's under contract and can't do anything about how he feels about her.Kora has been through hell and back with her ex, and is still dealing with the damage he has done to her. She never expected when she took the professor job, that Leo would end up in her class, and his pursuit of her would continue, nor that she would feel a pull towards him. She can't deny he's attractive, but she needs to heal from the damage done in her past. The more time these two spend together, you can't deny the chemistry between them or the undeniable pull between them. The banter between them is hilarious, and I loved every single moment of it.Both of these two have misguided notions about each other, and once they start to peel away the layers they find they are a lot alike and their pasts are quite similar and just can't seem to stay away. With Leo , Finn and Slater helping Kora fight her demons and finding herself again, Kora really starts to flourish, and I loved this about her, but when her ex comes back, things get ugly and I hated this for Kora as well as Leo and my heart broke for both of them, but leave it to Leo to find a way to make it all better again. This story was beautifully written, and I adored every single word in this book. Kora and Leo's story is amazing, and I loved their tangled and twisted way of finding their way to a HEA. If you love a funny, yet angsty love story, I highly suggest picking up your copy of Seducing Mrs. Robinson today, you will not regret it!

I LOVE reverse age-gap. I can't get enough, and this one was pretty well done I admit. Hot guy Leo, has a crush on HS teacher Kora, but she's married to a douchəbag. Fast fwd- now hot guy is all grown up and teacher is now Professer Hottie and he's got nothing in his way except ol douchəcanoe who can't seem to let go (in more ways than one). Leo's friends, his growth, his past, its all genuine. Kora's story is all too familiar for so many and Dyken did a d*mn good job with their overall story. I will say, I would've enjoyed a bit more spice, because who doesnt want a good vivid look at a hot younger guy finally getting to put the moves on his dream girl?

The first thing I liked about Seducing Mrs Robinson is that it wasn’t about an older lady who was instantly in with wanting a younger man. She fought it, it wasn’t something she was all in for from the beginning, and she also isn’t that much older so I feel it’s relatable.

Second as the story unfolds you start to fall for Leo with Kora. You learn about her past, you are with her in the now and it’s all (pretty much) real life. Leo works for it. He also has a story. Not everyone is who they seem. I love them both. They have an attraction that you want them to explore.

Third I find all the characters almost as interesting as the Eagle Elite crew (I said almost, Eagle Elite will always be my #1). I love books that are funny and a little dreamy but also touch on real life. Can’t wait for more! I always love a Rachel Van Dyken book.

*Received an ARC for an honest review* Rachel Van Dyken knocks it out of the park again with the second book in the Bro Code series, and the continuation of the 'Pleasure Ponies'. I loved how Leo's character unfolded and wasn't really what he seemed on the surface. My heart ached for Kora but I loved how despite everything she continued fight, she didn't give up. I didn't quite see the end coming and I loved it. Because there was so much depth to Finn's character, and how there was so much more to him, it makes me curious to see Finn and Slater are about. Can't wait to read the rest of this series!

Witty, humorous, gritty and a very easy read. Love Leo, he is so kind, forthcoming and intelligent, interesting and handsome in both character and looks. He is attentive, as well as assertive and he appears and all round hero. Kora or Mrs Robinson, has made some serious mistakes in life , that of her choice of ex husband. He, Chadwick is a bully, coward and totally incapable of telling the truth. He is manipulative and isn’t afraid to hit his ex-wife. A despicable trait. The story flows well. Is interesting and touched with sympathy about such a dreadful subject. However the humour between the more pleasant characters and fellow wingmen is very lifting and funny. A good read.

When I first read Co-Ed I loved it so much that I wanted more of the ‘Pleasure Ponies’ so when I found out that Rachel was writing not one but three followup books to that story I was so happy.
Leo is just 😍, I loved this book so much and would definitely recommend it!
