    I don’t normally read horror or the real horror anyway. Kudos to Emery LeeAnn for creating what could be a true life scenario! You will feel the utmost empathy for Violet and her sister, Polly, at least in the beginning, when you learn about their home life. Their lives get continually worse, while you could say it’s from their own doing I’m not so sure. This is one book I could not put down. It kept my rapt attention right to the very end. Even if you don’t care for horror you might give this one a try. Emery LeeAnn has created a world that appears real and believable as well as characters that could be your next door neighbors. You read it and decide. I loved it and I highly recommend it. Great read!

    This short story was so out of the ordinary for me! Had a lot of fun reading it and loved the characters! Ive noticed a lot of these novellas have a lot of potential to be at least 200 pages with more backstory because of how interesting the character background is! Definitely recommend!

    I have been a fan of this author's work for quite some time and I have to say I'm hopelessly addicted. Septic Dolly...I have not been disappointed. With a sassy, beautiful, yet freaky character, I couldn't put it down. LeeAnn's writing and character development put me in the mind of the characters she had created. Excellent Job! I cant wait to add the rest of the Freak Show to my book shelf.

    I am absolutely loving this series and this book is no different. Violet and Polly run from home and luckily end up at the Carnaval.
    Vi is one strange woman but is as dangerous and she is unique. Polly her sister, seems quiet and shy but is anything but.
    This is a great addition to this series.

    I'm honestly a little confused about what I just read. The story is basically about twin sisters, one if which has no arms or legs and they travel with other people who have oddities. They perform for the masses.

    Vi, the Human Torso aka Dolly has a biting problem she satisfies by finding vile men. Her sister Poppy feels guilty and is subservient to her sister and helps bury the secrets after Vi has finished with them.

    Definitely an odd read and trigger and content warnings should be looked at before diving into this quick read. I haven't read the prior books and it can be read as a standalone but I'm somewhat curious to see if things would make more sense if I had. But I'm not sure ill be doing that.
