Serving Mr. Chamberlain: An MM Service-Oriented BDSM Romance (Different Hearts Book 3) Kindle Edition
Quentin Davis never expected to crush on his new boss, his new straight boss. It was just that Mr. Chamberlain was everything he’d ever wanted in a man. He was handsome with a quick wit, a dominant attitude, and piercing, gray eyes that could cut you with a look. What wasn’t there to like?
It would never work.
Nolan Chamberlain finds his new secretary a little too tempting. Sometimes, Quentin is all he can think about. With one best friend heavily entrenched in the BDSM lifestyle and the other recently finding happiness in an alternative relationship, Nolan decides it’s his turn—which means leaving his painfully polite, vanilla, sexy secretary alone.
An accidental encounter.
During his first night out with his friends at the local BDSM club, Nolan locks eyes with the impossible. Quentin dressed in nothing but a few scraps of lace, combat boots, and gold highlighter serving the crowded room. And not because he works there, but because he likes it. Maybe Quentin isn’t so off-limits after all.

About the author

Born and raised in Texas, I'm a self-professed nerd and lover of all things romantic and kinky which includes but is not limited to age play, humiliation kink, service submission and dominance, pet play, and role play just to name a few. When I'm not thinking of new characters and things I want to subject them to, you can find me designing and playing video games, voraciously consuming romance novels, trying out new recipes, or spending time with my friends and family.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2023I absolutely loved reading Nolan and Quinten's story. It had some seriously heartbreaking moments but there was more heartfelt moments that made up for the bad. Quinten was stronger than he believed and I was so happy to share his journey. Nolan was very good for him and he totally deserved all the love in the world. He's my new squishy pie and I will be continuing on with this series. I am happy to have added this book to my permanent library and now can read it as much as I please.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2020I’ve read, and hated Service kink books, don’t get me wrong, I’m not kink shaming, I’m just saying that the books I’ve read, it always felt so abusive, those books never showed a soft side, never showed what the sub got out of it.
Service still isn’t my cup of tea, but now I have a better understanding of how it can be a give and take. This author has a real gift for making readers understand. Her books aren’t filled with sex and more sex, sure, there is sex—and it’s good—but her books have plot and story, and most of all, likable characters.
She introduces the right amount of new side characters to ensure there are plenty of characters for her to play with in the future, and somehow she makes them all sound as interesting as the main characters. I have to admit, I’m desperate to trade Kane and Kyle’s story, but I also want Danny’s and above all others, Carson’s.
So shock! I read this book and find out Carson’s book is next! I’m not super into men wearing lace, but I trust this amazing author to make it good for me.
My one continuous complaint is the editing. While not as bad as some, these books are too good for lackluster editing. The mistakes are obvious, and while not usually enough to break me out of the top notch story, they shouldn’t be there at all, at least not that many. Still do not let that dissuade you from reading this book, it’s a minor thing when the alternative is missing out on this incredible series.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2021This is the first book I've read that focused on a service sub. I was totally intrigued by how the author seamlessly explained this type of submissive, while keeping the flow of the story going. Quentin is such a lovely sub and the type of submission that he craves was really sweet. He has learned to equate service with showing love and the satisfaction he gets is from seeing the recipient accept and enjoy his offering. Nolan, while being new to the BDSM scene, was the perfect match for Quentin because of his dominant personality. The loved how he embraced what Quentin needed and didn't use his submission to control or take advantage of him. Of course, I loved seeing some of our favorite other characters and how perfectly all the books in this series blend together. I'm really looking forward to Carson and Foster's books and I hope that eventually we even get Spencer's story. Love these books!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2020This series is truly amazing and keeps getting better with each story! Nolan & Quinten are so perfect for each other - giving all they have and everything the other needs! I loved the look into BDSM that isn’t shown very often, service orientated submissive! I love how the list of characters I love keeps getting longer and longer! The characters are so well written and enjoyable - both flawed and lovable! It’s fun that this book ties perfectly into Ollie’s story - allowing us a chance to view his and Marshall’s relationship from a different view point! I’m so excited to read Carson’s story next and hope Spencer, Kyle, and all the other outstanding characters get their happy ending soon!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2020I thoroughly enjoy all of Izaia Winter's books. I've read the Different Hearts series numerous times. I found them because I am most interested in gay age play, but the first two books were so captivating that I wanted to read this one regardless of the kink. The characters are well developed, the story lines don't disappoint, and all in all, I see it as a wonderful way to spend a few hours with people I would love to call friends.
I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. If asked who's story I'm most looking forward to, I honestly can't say. Spencer obviously, but Kane and Kyle are also in the running. And we can't forget Foster. Mostly, I'm just glad there are so many stories left to be told.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2025My first service sub story and it was wonderful. I really enjoy both main characters. I liked the pacing as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2021Ms Winter's depiction of the interplay between a true submissive and a real Dominant leads me to believe she either has been in the lifestyle or is in close contact with others who have. This is no fifty shades of you know what that was researched in a library by someone who'd never set foot in a dungeon. I love her romanticized version of a Dominant/submissive relationship that shows the true values, code of honor, and deep connection between a Dom and his or her sub which is the core of the true BDSM lifestyle. Yes there are dabblers, wannabes, and actual predators who are drawn to this lifestyle...or should I say drawn to the clubs and the dungeons because they think it's all fun and games and a place to find easy prey but thankfully there are still enough of the honorable members of the old guard standing watch to weed those human scumbags out and bar them from most good dungeons. I like the romance factor, the sweetness when each partner realizes thier level of connection and devotion, and even though the sex scenes are incredibly arousing, they are still tender and loving. Ms. Winter knows how to weave an exceptionally accurate depiction of a BDSM relationship when all goes well. Excellent job. I look forward to seeing more from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2021But this story was nothing like the first two. While I loved the couple, I didn't feel connected to them like the others felt.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read!
A slightly different BDSM story than I usually find but still a thoroughly enjoyable story. I really liked Nolan and Quentin. I liked how they fit together, how Nolan protected and understood Quentin's needs and appreciated them. How tenderly Nolan treated Quentin and actually how open and honest they both were with each other after the initial reveal. Not instalove but trust and a big dollop of hope.
I really wanted to give certain people a mouthful and there were certainly a few who definitely deserved it but I do think Nolan handled each situation in a better way and without causing Quentin even more distress than he was already feeling. Although how one character even manages to last as long as she did raised my eyebrows. Her fail was epic but made me cringe that she even do that. Seriously, she was nasty.
Overall, a great addition to the series and I'm eagerly anticipating the next book. Thank you Azaia.

5.0 out of 5 stars New author for me
First of all, as I mention in all my reviews:
I don’t like to judge books, because my taste is different from other readers taste. I buy books because their excerpt intrigues me. I don’t go into details, be it gramma or writing stiles. I only tell if I like a book or not.
Those are funny and lovely books full of love and crazy family members and friends.
But I love this book and the story it tells and can recommend it.
The same goes for the other books in this series.
I hope you enjoy them like I did.
The conversations between the parties involved are funny, sarcastic, hilarious - but never lack love.
Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I’m very happy I found this new author and I hope they are writing more books for us to enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book by Izaia Winters
This is the 3rd book in the installment of Different Hearts. We briefly meet Quentin in Fixing Little Red when Oliver and Marshall first go to The Church and Nolan's reaction to N the server. Plus we get hints that Nolan is crushing on his new PA. This is their book and not having read any books about service subs, I found this one very sweet with how Quentin needs to serve Nolan and what he gets out of it. Nolan is a big softy and love how he cares for Quentin at work and at home. Another fantastic story from Izaia Winters and can't wait to learn more about Daddy Carson in her next book. Loving this series

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting
I confess I did not have experience with serving subs amongst BDSM spectrum and had never read about any.
It was very interesting understanding how the meaning of pleasure over serving could happen.
I would definitely recommend this book to everyone as a very interesting and entertaining experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best service sub romance
I tend to enjoy romances featuring service subs, but there don't seem to be a lot out there. This one is by far my favourite. The characters are likeable (except for the deliberately unlikable co-worker), their kinks are interesting, the romance feels believable and touching, and there is no hint that the sub, Quentin, is being taken advantage of in any way. Best of all, there is enough conflict to keep the story absorbing, but it doesn't come from cheating or ridiculous give-him-up-for-his-own-good tropes.
Overall, a sweet and satisfying read without being cutesy, sugary, or annoying. I highly recommend it.
