    This was my first book by this author, even though it was a little different than what I normally read....I loved it. So heartfelt, at least for me it was. These two shared a passionate night together 7 years ago, while in a drug induced state. Fast forward, Jen is getting out of rehab and Ash happens to be her sponsor. For me this was just a unique storyline compared to the books I normally read. It was more about second chances and two people that genuinely needed each other. Such a sweet and genuine love between this couple. To watch both of them overcome and fight against the odds was refreshing in a way that I can’t even explain. I just loved this story, safe read with an epilogue and hea. I am already starting another book by this author....let the stalking....err folowing begin😉.

    Recovering addict Jen Huntley wants to stay clean and goes to Roust Coffee to meet her new sponsor Ashley, who's wearing a blue shirt. Jen joins the only person wearing a blue shirt, and when he turns to look at her, they're both in for a surprise. Ashley Danvers' sponsee Jen turns out to be the beautiful woman who'd slept with him, then robbed him 7 years ago. When Jen suggests there's a conflict of interest in Ashley being her sponsor he tells her "There's no conflict if there's no interest." Jen doesn't have any romantic feelings towards the handsome Ashley but always looks forward to their meetings. Jen doesn't realise she's been falling for Ashley until he tells her "I can't be your sponsor anymore." What now?

    I don't give out many 5 star ratings, but this one definitely deserves it. The characters are relatable, and the plot is just.. it's just.. WOW! This is a fast read, and Sloane jumps straight to the point from the get go. She'll have you laughing, crying, and feeling everything the characters do! I especially love how she has written this. It's a heartwarming, one-night stand, turned enemies, turned lovers, and it is FREAKING AWESOME!! I can't wait for number three to come out in February! So, hurry, go one-click this read now. You will not regret it!

    This is the first book I have read by this author and I am so glad I was able to pick this baby up. This story is short and sweet, straight to the point. Jen and Ash met a few years back and when fate brings them back together there is no way for Ash to stop the addiction that has now become Jen. You will laugh and you will cry but you will definitely be happy with the ending.

    Amazing short story that will leave you craving for a new fix of the series 🙂
    It’s sexy and steamy and will hit all the right places. The dialogue is witty, sarcastic and funny. The main characters share an undeniable chemistry. Overall the book will make you laugh uncontrollably and weep occasionally.

    A good quick read about overcoming grief of a miscarriage and addiction. Finding love with a recovered addict lover makes Jen realize sobriety and life is good. I recommend this book to those who enjoy a love story dealing with the painful processes of overcoming addiction.

    Once again Sloane West comes up with a brilliant read in the second short book of the series. I really enjoyed this fantastic read of Jen and Ashleys’ story. Once again I laughed so much at Jen’s sarcastic, hilarious 😂 and sassy nature. Jen is Ashleys’ drug now. I cried a few times too in this loving story. Everything a girl wants in a perfect read.
