    After about the second page of the first book (STEELE MY HEART) I was hooked on the town of Abingdon and the remarkable residents. The small-town-ness combined with the ugly ‘good-old-boys network created fascinating characters! Two of the unique characters which the readers are given tantalizing glimpses of in the first three stories are Nikki Rippon and Fox Lee. Nikki is enchantingly fabulous, a little Ziggy Stardust and a little Annie Lennox. Leaving Abingdon, the night of his high school graduation with the blessings of his parents with a one-way ticket to Los Angeles to make it big. Nikki becomes a star in six years, best selling albums, hoards of fans and is phenomenally lonely. Fox Lee is born and bred to the entertainment industry with the savvy to be on the management end. As a high-powered and highly paid attorney, he manages careers, looks out for the welfare of his clients and is a partner in a leading industry firm. A chance meeting when Nikki is abandoned by his drug addled security team in a club and Fox is uncomfortably baby-sitting a young unstable starlet. Fox senses an unhappy and potentially dangerous back story for the young, attractive man and professionally offers his business card to be of help. This begins Ms. West’s fourth book, which becomes a mystery, with enormous amounts of missing money, a nearly instant attraction for the two, and dangerous moves by the dismissed staff. This is a fabulous (obviously) addition to the series AND the reader will never think the same way about Sperry topsiders again!!! GREAT READ!!!

    I was hoping to get Nikki and Fox’s book after getting glimpses of them through the first three books. I wasn’t disappointed by the plot, characters, or relationship development. These are two men who have chemistry that leaps off the page and who create a joyous, harmonious whole. What I was disappointed with was the copy editing/proofreading. There were so many issues that could have been corrected with just a once-over by the author. Even if she isn’t good with that stuff, a read-through y a friend or even an English major from a local college would have helped tremendously. I always hate to see talented authors treating their work so poorly. It’s also disrespectful to readers to give them a shoddy product. She hasn’t corrected these issues since her first book, so I’m going to assume that polish isn’t high on West’s priorities, but I’m also going to keep calling her out on it if she doesn’t change.

    Typical of Tatum West, we have yet another book that totally grips you, captivates and holds on for dear life from the first page to the last sentence!

    Here is a story of characters that creep into your heart and you absolutely love them to bits. Nikki has got to be one of the most beautifully developed and endearing characters that I have ever read. I feel so sad to say goodbye to this little darling. (I wish I could hear him sing!)
    The good news is, that he is bound to make cameo appearances in this series from time to time.

    This is a wonderful series; full of excitement, romance, well written intimate scenes, and enough danger and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat.
    I would, however suggest, that if you've not yet started the series, it would be best to read this one first, before starting book one. This book lays the groundwork for the delightful little town of Abingdon.
    ... and ends rather cryptically, in what will feel a lot like a cliffhanger.

    Unfortunately, plenty of typos and miss-edits, but all in all, a highly recommended read.
    Heat level around 4 for adult scenes and language. (no explicit violence).

    Nikki and Fox's emotional journey revolves around their acceptance of the drastic change needed in their lives path and the people that affect them negatively in it, gaining self-assuredness, learning to trust, plenty of toe-curling heat , a heart squeezing love blooming,with some dark, suspenseful foul play thrown in- making Nikki's story well worth the wait!

    I have been curious about Nikki's story while reading the past books in the Bridge To Abingdon Series - he has always stuck out as one of my favorite characters.

    Such a great storyline! Loved the descriptive details, bits of roughness and light all woven together perfectly bringing this incredible cast of past and present characters full circle into what my opinion is the best book out of the series! A swoony, heart of hearts read that projects family, love, trust, and everything in between!
    I look forward to seeing what Tatum West has up her sleeve for us next!

    The always flamboyant Nikki Rippon has escaped quiet Abingdon to try and make it big as a pop star in LA. While he succeeds beyond his wildest dreams, he’s a lonely and unhappy fish out of water in the LA celeb scene, isolated and controlled by a crooked manager and his thugs who act as Nikki’s security detail. It’s out of the frying pan and into the fire one night when Nikki evades his security, only to be swamped by rabid paparazzi and a few crazed fans. Things take a turn for the better when Nikki (24 yo) is rescued from the melee by Fox Lee (40+ yo), an experienced LA lawyer who specialises in managing celebrities and the two fall for each other.

    Having read Prince Harry’s Spare and other celeb autobiographies, this age-gap / celeb romance really rang true - LA is full of people trying to extract what they can out of vulnerable or naive celebs. There are plenty of gripping scenes and a genuinely sweet romance at the centre of it all. This had a fair bit of angst but not in the relationship between Nikki and his silver Fox, which was rock-solidly based on mutual trust. There’s a somewhat predictable stalker plot thrown in but I didn’t guess the twist, which I appreciated. Once again, I liked Alexander Cendese (as Fox), but I don’t think Tor Thom was the appropriate narrator for Nikki’s young, extra character. I think it would have worked better the other way around (the whole series is currently free on the Audible Plus catalogue).

    This is the story of Nikki and Fox.
    I have loved Nikki from the start and I am so glad we get to see how he got together with Fox.
    Based in LA where Fox is an attorney to the stars and Nikki is a famous rock star Nikki finds himself abandoned by his security team and when he is in need of saving Fox appears, bundles him in his car and as they say the rest is history.
    I loved how the story kept me riveted throughout. There is plenty of action mixed in with the relationship developing between Fox and Nikki to allow the book to flow beautifully.
