Sink or Swim: A Covid-19 poetry collection Kindle Edition
Covid-19 brought everything to an unnatural halt, and people were forced to find new ways to survive and live their lives.
This collection of poems reflects the Covid-19 experience, and gives expression to the fear and confusion resulting from the virus.
However, there is also a sense of hope and a fresh understanding of the world we live in as we came to terms with our new reality.
Perfect for fans of thought-provoking poems.
Reviews:
“There are poems in this collection about work, nature and the little things and moments that maybe we don’t always stop and appreciate. There is wit and irony in Brooke’s poetry, and she has a beautifully understated way of writing.” (A 4 star Amazon review)

Sink or Swim is a read that touches on the Pandemic and lockdowns, ‘the garden is the limit of where we can go,’ There are poems in Sink or Swim that are about work, nature and the small little things and moments that maybe we don’t always stop and appreciate. There is wit and irony in Anne Brooke’s poetry, she has a beautiful understated way of writing poetry too. Poems Grain and Something like Love were two of my highlights from Sink or Swim.
