    I absolutely ADORED this read. It's part of the "Cursed Seas" collection by different authors. In my book, this is my favorite of the collection so far.
    My honest opinion is this book is AWESOME!!!! Princess Liliana has a huge heart and love for her underwater people, the sirens. Slowly all the creatures in their realm have been suffering. Lack of food, mutating species, and other craziness. Ever since the meteor hit the earth, land and sea have taken huge hits. She's been doing her part by desperately attempting everything and anything she can think of to cure her people. Her life takes a massive hit when she loses her parents, the King and Queen while battling sea dragons. In one day she loses her parents, gains two orphaned sea dragons that somehow bonded to her, and becomes Queen.

    Queen Liliana barely had a moment on her parents throne when a messenger arrived with the very last thing existed... hope. Telling them that in the Thirteenth Colony they'd found a magical stone that's started healing their portion of the seas... As such the land above is also starting to thrive. Lil was excited by this news until she learns each colony has their own magic stone to locate and then figure the sacred resting place for said stone. With no clue where to begin, at least they now know there IS an actual tangible thing that can save their people. It's now time to prove herself her parents daughter. She will find this blessing and help the sirens and surrounding lands. Follow Liliana on this magical journey...along with her tribe off misfits and her air/sea dragons on a quest to save them all. Like in most adventures all kinds of crazy ensues, friendships are formed, relationships tested, and all kinds of 'magic' 😉 along the way. Will she be victorious? Read and find out....I loved seeing her gain confidence within, and realise her true worth. All in all a great read!!

    Lilianna is a siren princess who never expects to take the throne and is happy to let her parents govern. The sea is in crisis, poisoned along with the land many years ago. When Lilianna's parents are killed while on a mission, she has to avenge them. She finds the alpha female sea dragon dead. She bonds with the mother's two baby sea dragons. When she hears of a potential cure for the sea, she leads a team to land to search for the legacy stone that will heal her queendom. This is an easy, fun read for anyone who enjoys siren lore and wants another take on it.

    This was definitely a good book. I'm sad its it's a standalone but from beginning to end, it was worth the read. I loved the sirens, I love their morals and the way they dont give up. Well at least Liliana and her crew dont. Elle never disappoints. She is a fantastic author!

    Just like all of Elle’s book, this one kept you needing to turn the page. Twists and plots that I didn’t even consider. Then she threw in some dragons and mutant creatures that even the scariest dreams couldn’t think up. A journey that will leave the reader trying to turn the pages quickly, and reading too fast. The slow burn mentioned in the headline is because this book builds up a slow burn to get the the battle for lives.

    I highly recommend this book and if you’ve never read anything by this author, I suggest you start! She writes great stories!!

    This book was so addicting, it had me hooked from chapter one. This story is action packed and not once does it slow down. There is constantly something going on that keeps the reader entertained and wondering what will happen next. The romance is a slow burn at first but once it gets going you are rooting for each couple. I loved every minute of this book. I'm loving this author, her books are well written and very addicting.

    Wow. This book was fantastic. Captivating. Mesmerizing. Addictive. It had everything; sirens, images, humans, dragons, a kick ass plot, twists and turns, awesome friendships, romance, and even a blush worthy sex scene. This book was everything I hoped for and more. Elle Middaugh really outdid herself, but I knew she would. She knows just how to reel in the reader, hook, line, and sinker.

    I enjoyed this apocalyptic action filled story. The characters were interesting and engaging. There were some idiosyncrasies that I had difficulty appreciating (the fact that sirens could come out of the water and just walk onto the shore without falling was one of them). I didn’t appreciate when Liliana did something that she had no business doing either. Everyone in the book was casual about the deaths that happened during the story which didn’t endear the characters to me.
    All-in-all it was a good read.
