I loved the story. I loved the first book Behind The Lines and Dancing on Main Street, was a perfect sequel.

, This second book was worth the read. Celia has to decide what is most important. As the storyline progresses this storyline will address the what if’s of the first book with enough twist to keep you turning the pages and the characters are well worth the time it took me to read it.

This book was a great follow up to the first, and it had a great ending. Just like in the first we see a lot more than just romance. We see the love you have through family and friends and how romantic love isn’t the only type of good love you can have. My only complaint is that it was a little predictable, but that didn’t take away from it and is just my personal preference. There was a lot of character development as well as self-reflection from our narrator that went hand in hand with the plot. Making responsible decisions about your future and listening to what your heart is telling you is hard, after all!

    SPOILER-FREE SUMMARY
When Celia Westbrooke was forced to face her past in the heart of Music City, she didn’t expect to find Jesse Rockford tangled up in the middle of it. Jesse’s blue eyes swept her into a whirlwind romance that not only cost her the trust of her best friend, but led her to the last place she thought she’d end up – alone. With Christmas around the corner, it’s the perfect excuse for Celia to escape the bright lights of Nashville for her hometown of Hamden. Celia can’t help but wish Jesse was there with her, but she knows there is someone else she must fix things with first if she’ll ever have a chance at getting Jesse back. Logan Kent returns home to Hamden for the first Christmas in years where he’ll soon learn that even when you run, you can’t always hide. Celia is determined to show Logan that there is still hope for their friendship even in the midst of a broken heart. How will it end for Celia?

In this book we get the answers to the questions the first book left us with. We see all of the characters we love and as a bonus we get to see their story unfold during the magic of Christmastime. This book/series would make for a great holiday read in my opinion!

I think if you’re a fan of fiction or romance, you should check out this series!

Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!

The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

This second book is so worth the read. Celia has to decide what is most important in her life, and who. All the drama and what-ifs from the first book are resolved, and I just love the ending. I wish the two books had been combined into just one, but either way, it was a wonderful story.

This was so good! I didn’t want to put it down because I wanted to find out what was going to happen. Celia has some tough choices to make and I was happy with the way things turned out! If you love Southern life, you’ll enjoy these stories!

I couldn’t wait to dig in to this book after the cliffhanger from book 1! It was such a sweet ending to the story. I feel like this one had a little less depth and suspense than the first book, but it was still a great story. And I loved how it tied up all the loose ends! If you’re looking for a light read with a happy ending, this is it!
