The series also keeps getting better as the darker story that lurks behind our main characters unfolds just a bit more. The characters will have you fanning yourself and laughing out loud. The Maynard clan’s little sister and the towns hottest fireman star in this girl next door/best friend to lover’s romance.
    The relationship between Rayah and Jonny is special. Rayah has been in secret love with Jonny forever. He has always looked at her as his best friend’s little sister who was pretty, stubborn and adventurous. As adults, they are the best of friends… until they aren’t.     I loved reading Rayah’s story. She and Jonny were a perfect match, it just took them a while to get themselves together. Jonnys kids were adorable, they added so much to the story.
