Calling this book a “fun read, might make me sound bit off my rocker, because of the k!snapping and all, but it was a fun read. I have been dying for Silas and Daphne to get their story!

Torn between a man he considers a brother and the woman that holds his heart, burdened with an iron sense of honour and loyalty, Silas does what he thinks is right and honourable and pushes Daphne away.
Back from serving his Country and working with her brother the pressure mounts as an irresistible force comes in to contact with an immovable object and just as the tension mounts, Daphne in an act of true courage gets kidnapped.
Now the world shrinks for Silas, get Daphne back at any cost and make those who took her regret they ever met her. Drawing on the skills learned in the armed forces the Soldier is coming for his Princess.
Not that Daphne Is a helpless victim, as she constantly confounds her kidnappers and does whatever she can to make their lives difficult at every turn.
This read is a kind of heady mix of romance, action, adventure and sex, all blended together into what I think is DCK's best book yet. The characters jump of the page and I felt myself identifying with Silas..... a lot. Daphne was a great character in the Cowboy And The Bombshell and was absolutely magnificent given her own story to shine in. The action and sex scenes were handled very well, as fans have come to expect from this author. Side characters, including the bad guys are fleshed out well and this was an unusual kidnapping with a surprise at the end. If the Opposites Attract series ends here, then its a perfect ending. But I for one hope not. An excellent five star read.
