Something Blue : A Baxter Springs & Silver Lake Crossover Kindle Edition
Finding a boyfriend and settling down isn’t even on Micah Daniels’ radar. After getting kicked out of his parents’ house, he’s just thankful he’s found a job and a place to live. Opportunities are few and far between in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and Micah has somehow managed to make a stable life for himself against all the odds. The last thing he’s going to do is rock the boat. Losing this job would mean he’s out on the streets - again.
When Danny sees Micah for the first time, he can instantly tell there’s something special about the strong, quiet farm hand. But with Danny only in town for a week and Micah’s need for discretion, there’s no hope for their instant attraction to turn into something more.
But wedding fever is a funny thing, and love always seems to find a way. When the week is over, will Danny and Micah take a real chance on each other and…love?
This is a Baxter Springs and Silver Lake Crossover! Enjoy.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2018I love the two series that crosses over in this book and it was so nice to catch up. Danny and Micah are so adorable! I loved how well they meshed together. My favorite parts are when each of their friends gives them a hard time about their relationship. The fact that each side is done with love and caring behind it shows what a great support system they each had. I think this is my favorite of the series although it can be read as a stand alone there are little inside jokes that are hidden through out based on the previous books. I highly recommend this book!!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2019Why is it not possible to wtite a gay themed book that is not laden with sex? Its like trying to watch bad porn.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2018WOW! Mr. Ford has done it again! It no wonder I am such a fan of his work. Danny and Micah are a wonderful pair. I found myself smiling like an idiot, and bawling my eyes out.
You're away from home to attend a wedding and you meet the man of your dreams. What do you do? Falling in love and walking away is pure torture. Can the heart survive it?
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2018The story is a quite predictable and mellow read. Nothing unexpected, no angst, no distress, just a quick meet and fall in love type tale.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2018This was a great read! It’s pretty light and sweet but goodness sometimes that’s just exactly what I need!!
When I first read the blurb I wondered if a crossover would just seem awkward or forced but it absolutely wasn’t and worked perfectly! Nicely done.
I loved Danny & Micah’s heartfelt connection and tangible chemistry. Low angst, lots of sweet & sexy.
We got to see favorites from both communities we’ve come to love in earlier books which is always a plus for me. I really enjoyed both series that come together here and this was a great conclusion to both! Well at least I assume it’s the ending-if not I’ll happily read more!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2018I really enjoyed Something Blue. Micah and Danny were adorable and hot together. It was good to see Danny get a story of his own. I was so happy to have the couples I love from Baxter Springs and the couples I love from Silver Lake in one place. That was a real treat. While Something Blue is about Micah and Danny, it ties into Scottie and Trenton's wedding and I just have to mention it because it was a beautiful wedding that was conveyed to the reader with the perfect amount of detail. These boys have all been a joy to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2018I'm a sucker for a good crossover and this was a nice one. Micah and Danny were lovely engaging characters and it was a joy watching them take a chance on love. This works well as a standalone so reading the connected series isn't required.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018A great crossover story with wonderful characters and a great storyline. Micah and Danny are great together in this sweet, low angst story. It's an enjoyable read with a wonderful HEA. I really enjoyed seeing characters from previous books of both series although this can be read as a standalone. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
