I really love this book! I'm a huge fan of Walker's work, and I loved the first book in the series, Salazar, so im not surprised that I loved this one. It's a lot of exposition, especially throughout the beginning and getting into it. There's such great characters and scenery to explore. It ends on a much bigger cliffhanger than Salazar did, so I'm quite glad to have the last in the series, Dinah, to read immediately. It will be next up, cuz I can't wait to find out what happens next. Then I have to go back and read up on the history of the setting. The 2 prequel books are Purple Kitty and I think Blue Cadillac, if I'm not mistaken. Lots of good stuff to read by this author, just so ya know!! She's awesome...

The second book in this dystopian series is fast moving-a lot happens!! Eden has become a thriving community slowly learning to live the new normal. They still have some major problems, which includes a grumpy old grandmother who seems always to be trying to cause dissension. Thankfully it does not work. Sondra, the Psychic and Sage has a lot of the people meditating. Well--it rained just like they wanted--but they never thought about or expected the results! More problems--but there is a silver lining! Sondra takes in a young child who has abilities that nobody can believe but they are real!! There are a couple of unexpected but mostly happy reunions when Sam returns from visiting the reservation where he lived with his tribe. My only problem with this story was the ending---a cliffhanger!! I want to know what is behind the wall!! If you loved the first in this series--you will really love this one. Now here I go again--waiting for the next one to see what happens next!!
