    I loved this series and recommend to any paranormal romance lover that doesn’t mind a reverse harem theme. Rise of the Sphinx is an amazing series with great characters that go on an incredible journey to save the world. There are a few characters that I would love to read about, one of the rhymes with juice.

As the story progresses parts of her past come to light, other parts resurrect, and dealing with the blows as they come may not be able to save them in the end. Obscured by J. Kearston blends myth and reality to the reader’s benefit. With characters selected from the myths of Egypt, Greece, South America, and Christianity; the storyline will leave one guessing. I cannot wait to read Obsessed to see how this series ends.

    Rise of the Sphinx series includes the entire series by J. Kearston – Oblivion, Obscured and Obsessed. J. Kearston creates a unique world full of never before seen shifters and a woman who is forced to be on the run because of the interestingly uniqueness of her daughter. Now, Raina will do anything to protect her daughter, but along the way finds herself being drawn to the three handsome and rare shifters who have stepped up to help her protect what means most to her. Also revealing a unique past that promises a bright future.
    The Rise of the Sphinx series is a well-written collection that grabbed my attention from the beginning. Raina experiences something that so many parents fear the most…her daughter almost being abducted. I was immediately on the edge of my seat. Raina surprises me and I was eager to learn more about her, but the surprises don’t stop there. I love how the author conjures up some unique shifters that I’ve not read about in all of the other paranormal romance shifter novels.
    I have to admit that with a child in the mix I was really curious as to how things were going to play out with the steamy angle. Well, things don’t always go according to…hopes…or plans. I have to admit that I giggled and probably out right laughed more than a few times. I like that the pace is a bit slower and that things for the first book especially can be viewed as more of a slow burn.
    I really did enjoy this series so I am rating these books 5 out of 5 stars. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future. If you are a fan of this author and want to check out this series then I highly encourage you to do so.
