A Spinster No More: A Clean Regency Romance (Second Chance Regency Romance Book 4) Kindle Edition
Ann Knorr is just a companion to Lady Spencer during her first London Season. She has the grace and skill to smooth over societal faux pas which unexpectedly becomes essential in managing Lady Spencer’s eccentricities. Where will she go after the London Season? Will she become a true spinster?
Everton Cormick promised Claveston, Lady Gertrude’s brother, that he would look out for his sister during the Season, plus he tries to mind his younger brother as well. In doing so, he travels in the same circles as Ann Knorr, and they seem to connect on so many levels! As impressed as he is with Ann, he can’t contemplate marriage when he still lives in the past with his childhood sweetheart.
Can he put the past aside and recognize the future stands in front of him?
A Spinster No More is the fourth book in the Second Chance Regency Romance series.

About the author

Rose has read her way through countless romances over the years, “borrowing” them from her older sisters, and hiding them from her mother (Mom didn't like the sexy book covers!)
She has a special love for Regency romances and when she began writing, the Regency period was a natural place to start. The ton, the wealthy families, the Season, the dilemmas, and yes, the marriages, have always fascinated her. She loves a happy ever after! Now she is happy to bring this passion to her stories and share it with her readers.
On a personal note, Rose lives in North Carolina, is married, and has a terrier that barks too much. She enjoys taking him for walks to tire him out!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2021The Second Chance Regency Romance series gets better with each book and I loved "A Spinster No More" featuring Ann Knorr, companion to Lady Caroline Spencer and Everton Cormick, who had lost the love of his life to influenza before they could be married. Ms. Pearson never disappoints whatsoever and tells such a beautiful story that I felt I was in London in 1820 and totally involved in all that was happening from start to finish. If you enjoy clean and wholesome Regency romance, you will love this book. I received an advance reader copy from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2024They had loved before but it doesn’t compare to the love they find together. Good clean love story. Good to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2021I felt bad for Anne because of her family's finances having to be companion to Caroline who was spoiled, selfish, and rude. Caroline's mother wants her to act like a demure sweet girl to attract a lord. It's funny how they don't consider what the marriage would be like when her husband sees her true colors after they are wed. When Caroline finds someone who enjoys her interests and doesn't want her to change her ways she surprisingly becomes a likable character. But she looks like Everton's deceased fiance which brings up the pain of his loss and the guilt he feels for his attraction to Anne. His self centered brother is actually the one who keeps trying to convince him to court her before he loses her. I enjoyed catching up with the characters from the previous books in the series with their expanding families.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2024And this one is not exception. It was such a sweet and clean romance of two people coming to know they can be the love and answer for each other.
Loved that it was not over long so that it didn't use the same anguish over and over in order to lengthen the book like so many I see on the market now.

5.0 out of 5 stars ROSE PEarson
I love. All her books. And as I bedridden I read a lot of books.and.ROSE Pearson s books. I would not like to have lived in the REgency period they were such awful snobs. I loved the clothes and all fun. That the rich people had. Some people were very snobby. I would not have liked to have been poor then

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Romance
A very sweet tale of two gentle, likeable leads with a shared burden of grief finding healing, the angst on the way to their beautiful new beginning and the chemistry between them made this book stand out for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second chance love finally for Everton and Anne.
What a lovely story well told about love in London in the early 19th century. Life was not easy for young women and not many were able to marry for love. This story about Everton and Anne just sums up what can happen when old traditions are put aside and new traditions made.

4.0 out of 5 stars Straightforward romance
I found this a straightforward story, no surprises. In fact possibly less twists or surprises than I thought, as I fully expected Caroline to have a few twists and turns around her part of the story. There is also a continuity error. Early on in the book Everton tells Miss Knorr about having been affianced to Katherine, and then the scene is re-enacted at the end! A straightforward pleasant story
