4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 5,732 ratings

Two love-matches made. One to go.

Even though two of his best friends have settled down, Wes Lancaster is determined not to get sucked into some siren’s web. As owner of the professional football team the New York Mavericks and wildly successful BAD restaurant, his lifestyle is full as it is.

Well,
it was, until Winnie Winslow, the new, sexy, stiletto-wearing Team Physician trash-talks him in the locker room without batting an eye.

Now he can’t stop himself from wanting her.

The only girl in her parents’ brood of five, she’s as outspoken as she is beautiful and the kind of woman who holds her own—and then some.

Always competitive at heart, if he’s going all in for love... Wes sure as hell wants a Win-Win.

Prepare to get a little dirty because this one might go into overtime.

Game. On.

Max Monroe has delivered, yet again, another smash hit in their Billionaire Bad Boys series, but the tone of this one is different. There is still the comedy and the craziness the reader has come to love from these authors and this outlandish crew of friends, but there is a more serious tone to Scoring the Billionaire, and readers will enjoy the change of pace.

Wes and Winnie will set readers’ books on fire from chapter one. Holy heck! The chemistry and sexual tension between these two is palpable. Readers can feel it spark and sizzle in the air, and when it explodes prepare for some dirty and sexy times.

More than their sexual chemistry, though, readers will find Wes and Winnie to be likable yet complex characters. Each of them is struggling with choices from their past and choices that will affect their future. Winnie for most of the book struggles between taking a chance on Wes as she has been burned before, and she spends a considerable amount of time wavering between being with Wes and just sleeping with Wes. The one aspect of Winnie’s character that readers will love is her aggressive nature, especially sexually. She goes after Wes, holding nothing back. I mean that office scene took some serious guts, and readers will respect the gumption and confidence that it takes, making her my favorite type of heroine. Readers will also adore her for doing what is right for her daughter, and the one aspect of her character, and I absolutely LOVE Max Monroe for doing this, that makes the reader love her is watching her feeling conflicted between spending time with her daughter and work and Wes. Readers, especially work moms, single moms, heck moms in general, will relate to Winnie on this level and empathize with her over her struggles. Wes, however, has a different insecurity that I didn’t expect. Throughout the series he seems like this completely calm and collected man, but through the story the reader gets to see that he doesn’t see himself as enough. This revelation truly made him endearing. The readers heart will break for him and ache to tell him how great he is, and watching him with Winnie’s little girl is an ovary explosion waiting to happen. This book, like the previous ones, just provides the reader with great characters with tangible chemistry.

Winnie’s brothers in this book are also absolutely hilarious, and I hope we get to see them again, somehow, somewhere!

The plot of this novel is more serious and contemplative than the previous books, but Max Monroe has perfect comedic timing and integrates the hilarity readers love in this series to temper the more serious scenes and interactions between the characters. And while this story is not very action driven, the character development, watching a little group of three become a family, and observing the whole Billionaire Bad Boys interact is enough to keep the reader engaged. Readers will not be able to put this one down.

Max Monroe has created absolute gold with this crew. I love them. I love their craziness, their humor, their support for each other, but more than anything, I love how these characters love each other. Their friendships, their romantic relationships, just every single aspect of these characters and their stories are flawless, and while I am sad it is ending (I know there is still a novella), I am so very excited to see what the great minds of Max Monroe will take readers next.

First order of business: cry because this beautiful series has come to an end.

Max Monroe are two of the most brilliant-minded writers I’ve come across. Throughout this entire series I was doubled over in laughter or i was throwing my kindle onto the bed and cursing the book Gods. The Bad Boy Billionaires novels have your generic RomCom story line. There’s laughter, there’s tears, and there’s ALWAYS a happy ending. This series consists of 3 main books and a side novella for each. Each book focuses on a couple: Georgia and Kline, Thatcher and Cassie, and Wes and Winnie. Banking the Billionaire is the last main book and focuses on Wes and Winnie.

    Ah, Wes and Winnie.

Don’t ask me to decide which couple I love best because I can’t and I won’t. BUT. With that being said, we’re going to focus on Wes and Winnie because this is their story.

Wes Lancaster is the owner of the Mavericks football team and a restaurant named BAD. Freedom is what he values most, and being a single guy with endless money gives him just that. Winnie Winslow is the physician for the Mavericks and a mom to her 6 year old daughter Lexi. Together this trio is pure magic.

If they aren’t doing the deed, you can be sure to find Wes and Winnie arguing over the Mavericks players. What started out as sexual tension at the workplace turns into a whirlwind romance that was nothing short of beautiful. Lexi is autistic, but that doesn’t stop her. She has the education of a high school senior and shes a 6 year old that LOVES asking questions about anything and everything.. no matter how awkward it makes the conversations.

My favorite part of this couple, hands down, is the way Wes is with Lexi. He has never had any practice with kids, and yet, as soon as he met Lexi, they clicked like two ends of a magnet. Downright swoon-worthy I tell you. Lexi doesn’t care for anyone outside of her family and the way she latched onto Wes so quickly just made my heart skip a beat.

Max Monroe have changed lives with this series. The author duo have stated that while the series has come to an end, this won’t be the last we hear from our favorite couples. The next time we see them will be from our very own Mavericks players. I can’t wait!

Book 3 in the Bad Boys Billionaire Series and I do recommend you read them in order to get the most out of this series. Each book I read in this series seems to get better and better and I really didn't think that was possible.
This is Wes and Winnie's story but it's not just about them who could forget Winnie's beautiful daughter Lexi and the relationship Wes builds with her had my ovaries screaming ! Wes was always telling the gang he was not settling down was not a family man that was until Lexi and Winnie came along. Winnie is a strong minded sassy character who will do what ever is needed for her special little girl, the last thing she expects is for Lexi to open up to the man she is falling head over heels for. It's not all plain sailing though Wes does sometimes get it wrong and that makes Winnie go into protective mode because Lexi will always come first.
This book is emotional, romantic, hot, funny with just the right amount of angst and those one liners from Lexi are just perfect. The friendships formed in the previous books means we were always going to get a visit from the gang and once you add them into the mix you get a brilliant read.
Loved it can't wait for more from this gang
