Freedom's Touch (Stalking The Enemy Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 24 ratings

Alone is necessary. Alone is safe. Alone is…lonely.

As a Stalker, Bianca’s self-imposed isolation keeps her gift from the knowledge of those who would use her for evil. While life is a bit lonely, she has a life, even if it is routine. But when two Elite soldiers knock on Bia’s door while on the search for a madman Warlock, her mundane world flips upside down and she finds herself doing the unimaginable: leaving her apartment.

Bianca’s ability to find anyone she’s touched has brought her nothing but fear her entire life, but Kip’s case gives Bia hope that maybe her power could be used for good. But when someone targets Kip, Bianca must decide if leaving her apartment was worth it or if she should return to the shadows. Isolation was miserable, but was it better than ending up dead?

Freedom’s Touch is the first urban fantasy novella in the Stalking the Enemy series. If you enjoy made family, slow burn romance, and friends-to-lovers romance, you’ll enjoy Freedom’s Touch! One-click now to start stalking the enemy!

Heather is a lover of all books YA Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy, but it wasn’t until she was in college that she realized this. It’s likely why the book she wrote in 8th grade was rewritten several times and then set aside to sit on her bookshelf to never see the light of day. Once Heather found the genre that she enjoyed above all others, she dove back into reading, and with it, writing. That’s why even her Christmas books are filled with dragons and shifters.

Currently, Heather and her writing companion, Gunney, live in Wisconsin. He’s her Pomeranian that loves to keep her company while she writes and edits. He also keeps her on her toes. They can often be found wandering the local cemetery to escape the apartment, sitting out on the back deck, or snuggling on the couch writing. If Heather isn’t writing, she’s listening to music while crocheting, making Christmas ornaments, or reading. Some form of music is always playing, and each book has its own theme song or album.

I have read everything that Heather Karen has written and have loved them all. This is a new series based off of the First Blood series. It was another excellent book and I can’t wait for the next to come out! Bianca lives an isolated life until Kip and Feran knock on her door. Nothing will be the same again. Thanks, Heather, for another wonderful read!

I have so many questions about the experiments Hon's was conducting. Thank goodness I can move on to book 2 immediately.
