    Kenzie was roofied when she was 18 by guys from her high school. She was inviting a couple of friends to her house only to have at least 200 show up. She was known as the Ice Queen at school before her father sent her to boarding school. A few of the elitist boys decided that she was fair game.

    Oren was staying at Kenzie’s house as her father’s guest. He was there to attend his father’s funeral. His father had been on Kenzie’s father’s staff as mechanic for his collection of cars. He heard the loud music and the noise from the “guests,” and he felt he owed it to Kenzie’s father to make sure there was nothing going on that shouldn’t be.

    When he got downstairs, he soon found out what was going on and he searched for Kenzie. He found guys lined up at the office door to get their chance with Kenzie. He broke down the door and found Kenzie unconscious and a guy standing over her. He fought off the guys and called 911 for help. Then he went to Kenzie and held her, comforting her and making sure she didn’t totally lose consciousness. When he looked into her eyes, he knew he was in love. He would always protect her.

    This book had a great storyline and excellent writing. It didn't drag, but also didn't skimp on the needed details and backstory. It should have been 5 stars. BUT the female lead was so naive it was almost unbearable. Like naive to the point that you think she's just unbelievably stupid at times. If she'd been even slightly intelligent this would have been a fantastic book. The writing and story were good enough that I give it 3 stars in spite of hating the main female character. If you can look past that it is a great book for this genre.

    This was a great quick read. I'm always a sucker for a good stalker romance. Definitely one of my top favorite troupes. This book makes me really wish I had my own stalker. The only thing I didn't like about this book was Kenzie was a bit naive for me. The way she going back to Gordon and listening to what he was saying was pissing me off. I really wanted Oren to 💀 this man. I do wish there was a bit more spice though. Buti would definitely recommend this book for a stalker read.

    This is my first book by this author and I truly enjoyed it. I love dark romance and this story has a stalker with true conviction. Oren is the type of man you want to root for. Kenzie is naive is a sense that the world around is an ugly place but with oren as her shadow, she is sheltered from the nastiness wanting to take advantage of the senator's daughter. Great read. Cant wait to read more by this author.

    What a way to finish 2022 (I think)!

    This book was so good and I was super sad when it ended as it was quite short! The characters and storyline are well developed despite it being fairly short, and I didn’t want to put it down to do normal things like sleep!

    Stalker romance is kind of my jam anyway, but the author wrote in such a way that Oren’s obsession bled off the page.

    This is my first book by Jagger and you better believe it won’t be my last!
