    A good prequel novella with a complete story that introduces Alina. It was hot and funny and an interesting series setup. Starts out with Alina walking to a party and goes from there as she meets super hot witch Roland. Alina learns things about herself she was not expecting that sets up this series and makes me want to read more. Plus the friends of these two were a hoot. I did laugh out loud a few times too.

    A magic apocalypse. I like it. In this book we're introduced to our main heroine Alina, her best friend Val, her love interest (though he won't be her only as my understanding is that it will be an RH book when the first book releases next year) Roland, and his roommate Ben. It's a quick read that is really just an introduction to the world, Alina, and Roland as Alina learns that she isn't as human as she thought she was and that her obsession with astrology is a little more than what it seems. There are a few spicy scenes that are *chef's kiss* and I am very much looking forward to the release of book one.

    Star Kissed is a prequel to a larger RH story and Explains how the FMC meets her first soulmate. The soulmate tell in this is an instalust connection that the characters all feel and act upon, though not same day. There is a nice build up of sexual tension before they do the deed. I would recommend that this book be read first even though it is not RH yet. The series is Starseed with the first book being called Star touched.

    Star Kissed it the prequel of the Starseed series. This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. I loved Roland and Alina as well as their friends. This is a very strong start to a new series and I can't wait for the rest of the series. This is a fasted paced book that will have you hooked from start to finished and wanting more at the end.

    I liked the idea of cosmic and magical energies working together. I did, however, find it a little hard to follow along when Alina starts talking about all the astrology aspects. Probably because I know little about astrology personally. I could have enjoyed this more if it had gone a little slower and Alina had explained it all in simple terms to Roland as if he was as uninformed as me. Also the breakdown she has...why did it happen? Did I missed the explanation somewhere? As interesting as I find the story concept, I'm not sure if I will read the next book given I will probably spend a considerable portion feeling confused over my lack of understanding of astrology and missing the points being made.

    This prequel book is a great set-up to the rest will of the series. In this book you get to see Alina and Roland meet and fall in love, and with this you get an insight into why the subsequent meetings are so hard for Roland, especially, to deal with.
