This is Fergus and Donna's story. Fergus is a member of the MacGregor warlocks and still mourns the death of his wife Elsbeth even after four hundred years. Hr has even used his magic numerous times to try and bring her back after she was killed by a witch hunter. Enter Donna a photographer from Greenvalis who for some unknown reason is compelled to deliver baked goods to the MacGregors even though she knows shes a horrible cook. She has seen visions and heard voices her whole life that make no sense to her but tie her to the MacGregors past as well. When Fergus meets her he is drawn to her but can't commit because of a promise he made to his wife before she died. Can Fergus resolve this so that he and Donna can have a chance at a future or is the past destined to repeat itself? I thoroughly enjoyed this story as the MacGregor family is quite eccentric and prone to pranking and other entertaining activities as well. Check it out. It is quite the entertaining tale!.

I enjoyed Fergus and Donna’s instalove, fated mates, warlock-human novella with a side of angry ghost. Fergus is an immortal warlock whose large clan family recently moved to small town Green Vallis. He lost his wife more than 400 years ago but has not moved on. Donna is a human who runs a photography studio in the town. She has been welcoming the MacGregor clan to the town with gift baskets of baked goods that she feels compelled to make despite the fact that she’s a terrible cook. Fergus is drawn to Donna and decides to try companionship even if his heart is still spoken for but things get a bit complicated. Despite being short, the story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline as shown through sweet moments, steamy scenes, laugh out loud moments, messy families, painful pasts, surprises, plot twists, ghosts, magic, and love. I am enjoying the insanity that is the MacGregors and am looking forward to reading more in this series.

A novella packed full of punch!

Although short this novella was just as enticing as the other two books in this series. It was full of humor, as there always is with the MacGregor clan yet we experience a sadness in this book that the other two did not explore. Fergus experience with deep loss limit him to allowing himself to feel for another woman. Yet when he meets Donna he is drawn to her but there is more going on to this story than just a sweet love story. We have naked challenges :P
ghosts, and so much more packed full of fun with a complete and inspiring story. I don't think I will ever get enough of the MacGregor clan and personally can't wait to see which MacGregor male is in line for happiness next. Believe me, while reading these books you can almost hear the Scottish brogue in your mind. The characters are so full of life that you yearn to be a part of the fun.
This is a LOL series, with hot Scottish men and the antics and mischief they make. It may not be a steamy romance but it offers the reader a great escape from reality and allows a healthy dose of magick into our lives. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

I love me a gruff man who just doesn't know what to do with himself. And when you add a very confused woman acting in ways she didn't understand and some magic to the mix, you end up with a great story. In true MacGregor fashion this book is a little insane, but Donna and Fergus managed to make it through in a manner that truly befits the hilarity that surrounds the extensive MacGregor clan. Loved it!

The premise of the story is a lot of fun. I always love reading different writers interpretation of magic, kilts are fun and sexy, and many of the highjinks are a good laugh.
My biggest issue is the writing feels like it was geared towards preteens and teens based upon its composition, detail, and vocabulary choices. But the sexual context is very much adult. I feel like I'm back in middle school reading a series designed for less complicated minds. There is a distinct lack of background and character/world building. There is conflict and stated emotions, but the writing doesn't make you actually feel the emotions or make you struggle to find the best way through the conflict

Short and sweet! Lots of fun-filled antics with the MacGregor clan. At first Fergus and Donna seem to be an odd pairing, but after getting to know them, they are perfect for each other! I love that Fergus finally got his happily ever after. Love this series, looking forward to the next book!

Fergus lost his wife, Elspeth, 400 years ago, and daily he's been trying to bring her back. He finds Donna attractive, and he feels guilty and unfaithful. Donna, for reasons she doesn't understand, keeps baking cookies and taking them to the MacGregor mansion. The younger group of MacGregors believe these cookies could be weaponized. Donna sees human and animal ghosts and hears a Scottish male muttering at her in her house.

I love the MacGregor clan! They're funny, they play pranks on each other, they react to each other like a close family would, and they love with all their hearts. It would be handy to have a family tree so we can see the relationships.

This story is shorter than the previous two books.

Stand alone HEA, but better if you've read the first 2 books.

Contains sex scenes, swear words, and violence (stabbing, ghostly intruders).

The Scottish shenanigans are back again with this book and they will have you rolling on the floor laughing. Well when you aren’t shedding tears for lost love and new love that seems lost already. I love this latest addition and can’t wait to see what these wild MacGregors get up to in the next book.

The third book in the Warlocks MacGregor series a well written story with a very good storyline that kept me turning pages. Scottish Warlock Fergus MacGregor and their new neighbor Donna Montgomery's story was well worth reading. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists turns, magic, and love. This series just gets more interesting with each new book. I enjoyed listening to

Caught this series on another authors facebook page, so thought I would give it a try! It is a good story that weaves its way through all the books. Its is entertaining, and with a few twists that were unexpected. The whole series are books you dont want to put down, and with laughs along the way. Altogether, a good book from a good series. What a fabulous little novella!! I really enjoyed this quite brief dip into Fergus macgregor’s history. The heartbreaking story of he and his lost love Elspeth was a great way to understand his surly demeanour.
    I highly recommend this series.

Donna Montgomery starts bringing food baskets to her neighbours the MacGregors, they are not readily accepted due to the strange assortment of flavours and partly raw ingredients.

Fergus MacGregor had lost his wife some time ago and has tried to find her. Drawn to Donna, Fergus can't work out why.

With the pranks played on each other by members of the family, Donna sees more than she should. Seeing ghosts and hearing bagpipes confuses her but all becomes clear and all ends well. With lots of laughs along the way, another amusing tale.
