Maddie is a married mum of three children, she always wished for twins but boy was she shocked when it happened. She lives in Hereford in the UK, which is the proud home of Bulmer’s Cider and the SAS. Maddie loves martial arts and ale, although not together. Gaining her black belt in karate at just 14 yrs old, she then went on to study Jujitsu. She now watches her twin sons from the sidelines. Her love of books began in high school but she discovered writing when her boys were young.

Skye is one tough cookie , when things get bad she steps up especially when it comes to her son . She is strong willed but also you want to hug her and tell her that everything will be ok . Nate is strong and oh so sexy , he will do just about anything for his friends and family . He also has a dominate side to him especially in the bedroom . They make such a good team and Noah is such a sweet boy and he has a special power that lets him know things . I truly loved these characters
    The author takes us on a journey . The beginning of the book is actually sad . But then it gets hot and sexy . There is intrigue and romance all rolled together in one book . You will laugh , cry and sit on the edge of your seat . There are times when your kindle will get all steamy . I read this book in an afternoon I just couldn't put it down .     Skye is single mom of a sick little boy. Nate falls in love with both Skye and Noah, when he met them in Noah's hospital room. Noah has a special gift. The divine watcher's want him to help in there twisted evil plans but not if the Fortis team can help it. Will they get to Noah in time?

    This story is packed full of action and suspense. Noah is an incredible little boy. He is wise beyond his years. I love how trusting and open he is. Skye and Nate compliment each other so well. There story is incredible and makes you believe that everyone has a soul mate. I enjoy all the character's minus a few exceptions. If you read the story you know who those would be. This story has a bit of everything mixed all together for an explosive book 2 of the series.

    The plot was action-packed and full of twists and turns! I was hooked from the beginning. I recommend reading the author’s note and glossary at the beginning, as it gives a nice overview and essential background information.

    I loved that the story was told from both Nate and Skye’s point of view. I won’t give away any spoilers, but let me just say that you will immediately be rooting for Nate from page one. He so deserved his own happily-ever-after, and I was satisfied that he got it by the end of the novel. Skye was sweet, but tough, having to deal with her own life challenges and struggles. As a couple, they give each other strength and support. It was fun to watch their relationship develop over time.

    This was the first book I’ve read by this author, and I look forward to reading more in the Fortis Security Series.

    I had read the first book of Maddie Wade Fortis series and was impatient to have more news about the great characters she had woven in the first book.
    I loved the relationship of Nate and Skye. Through the twists and turns of the story, we can really see the alpha in Nate and the heart and courage of Skye. Noah is a sweetheart full of surprises, I fell for the boy.
    Great story with a very sweet, emotional ending. The story expands on what you learn in the first book (no spoilers), pushes the limits of each characters, and you want more!!!! New characters too. (Liam made me laugh... a lot!)
    Great novel, I recommend it, not a boring moment in sight.
