    I have watched Bear, as he pined for Sam, for a few books now and fallen in love with him as I did. Did I fall even more in love with him while reading this one? Obviously! 😍
    No lie, when I first met Sam so many books ago. I thought she might be shady 🤨. I wanted to know when she was getting in the way of Walker and Brook. Turns out, she wasn't and I was so glad to get a chance to get to know her because I hate it when I'm wrong about characters. Spending time with the two of them this book was fun. With their tension, it could have been drawn out a couple hundred pages 🥵 and I would have happily read it all.

    Sam also has feelings for Bear, but thinks he doesn't like her and believes she's incompetent. The two learn more about each other, while undercover, and start opening up. But if they want a future together, they both have to bare more when they get home.

    Good chemistry and some action, including taking down a human trafficking ring. Then a HEA.

    This is a story about a h and H who have feelings for each other but he has sworn off women until....
    You're just going to have to read the book to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and this review is my own opinion.

    Here we have quite a good story, but it suffers from how short it is. The storyline is also lacking a bit, again because of how short it is. But the story is still quite OK and is fun to read. With this type of stories there is somehow everything insta- something. The leading characters are fine, but also missing out. Overall it is a short story that can be read in a long lunch or a short evening. So I am giving this story fine three stars.

    It's Bear's story this time and what a story it was.

    While I do think that the one scene in this was written in haste with absolutely no foreplay we did get plenty of build up to it.

    One thing completely separate to this book is that Book 4 Knox 'Rescuing Karina' isn't part of the Whiskey Run Heroes series on Kindle. I can't find it anywhere to actually read it and it doesn't even appear when you check to series order on Amazon.

    A bit annoyed because they do slightly lead into each other and also the Epilogue is usually mostly about leading into the next book.
