    This is the 2nd book in the series and it did not disappoint.
    This book continues with Renna, Scorpion, Cat and the other students of the Supernatural Task Academy (STA) but the storyline gets more intense with every page you turn. The title is MOST appropriate and captures the storyline perfectly!
    The selected team has to find a way to stop the portal of Hell from fully opening and that brings with it some “wicked” action and fight scenes that had adrenaline pumping through my veins. There was a point in the book that I actually became emotional and teary-eyed (and I am not an emotional person), the writing was just that good!
    For those that want a bit of romance, you will not be disappointed. There’s a new romance that’s blossoming (sweet, sweet, sweet romance) and with it comes some hilarious scenes as the characters test the “love waters”.
    Great book that had me falling in love with the characters. Eagerly awaiting book 3!

    “Mystique Blaze” is a great addition to the Supernatural Taskforce Academy series. I truly enjoyed Catina and Kyro’s point of views. Authors Stephany Wallace and J.L. Weil continues to do a fabulous job with this new world they have created. Both characters, Catina and Kyro are strong and have gone through much in their life. Through out the book the authors develop the characters very well, especially the taskforce team. The four team members grow together and become as family. The action, adventure, and self-growth is a joy to read. I’m looking forward to the next book.

    Picking up right where book one left off, readers return to the STA world for Mission Two. You will meet new team members, learn of an on campus murder mystery, and experience powers out of control. Be prepared for another action-packed read with a sweet romance woven through.

    This story centers around Cat and Kyro, with support from book one's Scorpion and Renna. The group dynamics are well-written and seem natural. And as Cat and Kyro are the youngest characters of the bunch, this translates to a self-discovery and character-driven focus, with a sweeter, more innocent romance (no spice here).

    Mission Two, Mystique Blaze was a great continuation of the story arc. The only issue I had was, once again, with some editing misses that would occasionally jolt me from the story. Luckily, in contrast to those relatively minor issues, I found Weil and Wallace's team writing flows together as naturally as their characters (meaning it's a flawless transition between the two writers), and expertly drives the story forward. Overall this is definitely a series I would recommend!

    Love it. Cat is a sweetheart and Kyro... well Kyro was a pain in the behind for a while there but you get to understand him later. You really can't denied the chemistry these two have. Its explosive and intense, and love every minute of their interaction.
    Things are starting to get tricky tho, so they better hurry up in finding the rest of the team!
