    Adorable main characters combined with a well paced story for being a quickie. I'm normally not a fan of novellas (I like a meatier story usually) but I'd read about those two again.

    This is a quick, mildly steamy, second chance novelette length read. While I enjoyed the depth of the story, I would have enjoyed it more if the ending would have provided more details than the HFN ending. I suspected if as much depth was added, like how did Blake place in the upcoming surfing competition and did Blake leave for Bali, with 1-2 more chapters then ending would have been a HEA. Even though I was disappointed with the HFN ending, I still would recommend quick & fun Surf Break.
    Even though I did receive an advanced review copy of this book, I also purchased the book / read it with Kindle Unlimited and am voluntarily leaving my own unsolicited opinion with my voluntary review.

    I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review..I enjoyed this quick story about Blake and Chloe. She was his crush, but being a surfer, he didn't think he was good enough for her. Chloe has always been a shy bookworm, but secretly crushing on Blake. Now he's back in town for a competition and things might be changing for them. Great chemistry.

    Surf Break is a short love story. Hope Malone wrote an amazing story. The two main characters went to highschool together. They each thought the other was two good for them. A short surf break has Blake Mitchell back in his hometown. He is happy to see Chloe behind the counter at her parent’s surf shop. Blake wants a shot with Chloe, but he has to overcome a challenge before he gets his shot.

    If you need to read a book to complete a reading challenge, this is one for you. It doesn’t ask you to do anything but read it and let your mind go. It’s a very fast novella with main characters that you’re not sure if you should be rooting for them, on my because you never really a chance to learn them.
    I don’t think I’ll read more books in this series.

    Love that this is a fast book to read. Love the story of childhood friends meeting again.
    Not a fan of how the author makes everyone dought everyone's responses but it happens alot where people missread a response.
