    I read the first book in this series around a week or so ago and I promised myself that I would wait for the third book to be out before I started the second one. I clearly failed miserably and that is because this series is fantastic. As some say this is the MM sci-fi we didn't know we needed. This author is new to me and when I read the first book I didn't know what to expect and I was a little miffed by some lack of trigger warnings but the book was so good I gave it 4 stars. Going into book 2 I was already aware of the triggers in the series and I thought I knew what to expect. I was absolutely blown away by the world building, character development especially getting to know some side characters a bit better. There was a cliffhanger in this book but it wasn't that bad because it ends with something one would have forseen based on how things were going towards the end of book. Now we just have to wait for the next book in the series. I hope it will come out soon.

    The Veil makes me so angry! They say they want to help and protect humans but punish everyone who does. It's crazy. There is no understanding as to why the humans would want to runaway or would hurt others in defense of themselves. This book ends on another cliffhanger so now so wait for the third installment

    Omg! I'm so completely enthralled with these books. This book picks up right where the first one ends and continues the saga of the kidnapped humans. Ethan is such a wonderful character and the introduction of some new faces was surprising and exciting. I'm a little in love with sweet Sam and can't wait to see what happens next. Of course, this book ends on a cliffhanger and I'm going to be on pins and needles waiting for the next installment. The action and adventure is thrilling, the world building and character development extremely complex, and the heat factor is definitely 🔥🔥🔥! I highly recommend this series!

    This is the second in an incomplete series this author seems to like cliffhangers, this one isn't so bad as it leaves the main couple in a good spot relationship wise, but more challenges ahead in the wider story line. This is a M/M human abduction alien romance novel. The first book in this series has a bit of abuse from one of the main characters to the kidnapped human; it was one occurrence and never repeated. The sex between main characters is mostly enthusiasticaly consentual considering highly uneven power dynamics at play. Kink and mentions of abuse are all over this story line, so if that's going to be upsetting give this one a pass. Otherwise it's a great book, great series so far and I'm impatiently waiting for the next one.

    Boy did this book deliver. I was alright with the first book and definitely liked where the second one was going, only to not find the third book :( I really wanna know what happens!     I love that it switched POV for part 2. I hope we get dual POV for the final installment. Although the cliffhangers leave our MCs, in a precarious position, I still loved this installment of the Rescue Trilogy. Cannot wait to see where this leads!

    Ever since I read the wonderful RESCUE, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the sequel. This did not disappoint.

    I don’t want to give any spoilers, so I’ll just say that Ethan and Kipexo are the cutest.

    It was great to read a BDSM relationship written so sensitively, with consent, trust and respect always centred. Add a gripping storyline outside the bedroom, and this is a real winner.
