Sweet Retribution indeed. 🙌🏻Daaanngg, Y’all! So I had been chomping at the bit for this last installment of Abby and Kai’s story. Wondering to myself, is it really possible for Siobhan to top those first two books in the series? I mean come on... they were fantastic. Almost beyond being able to put into words, kinda of fantastic. Well folks SHE DID IT! Holy Crap on a stick, this book y’all! She took this one and kicked it up so far beyond anything I could have fathomed.
I went into this book with so many theories and predictions in my head as I’m sure you did too. Did she go through with it and Marry Charlie Barron? Will Kai walk away if she does? How could she even move on after learning what her father did to her anyway?
You might as well Chuck your theories at the door my friends, and buckle up. It’s going to be a bumpy ride on a dark road, full of twists and turns. There’s gonna be forks in the road, crashes and casualties. I’m still trying to come down from it all. 🤯
I feel like my heart and brain and maybe even my stomach have been put through tumble dryer. This book gave me a thorough workover, that’s for doggone sure. I loved every heart-stopping, stomach-clenching, mind-boggling, and jaw-dropping moment. Some of my theories were correct, some were not! They were ALL plotted to PERFECTION!!
The ones that weren’t, I totally get why she didn’t go in that direction. There were so many unexpected twists in this book. Now, I have no idea where in the world this amazingly talented author thought up these things, but I am BLOWN AWAY! 💥This book was nothing short of twisted delicious perfection. This whole series is. But Sweet Retribution. GAH!! Abby and Kai make up my ultimate fantasy couple. 😍🔥😍
So many details and fine tuning had to have went into being able to wrap this story up the way it was done. I’m not going to give any specific details on anything, I will just say, I am in AWE! This is better that I could have predicted as far as the conclusion, and like I said some of my “hopes” or “theories” didn’t necessarily come true for this book. But I wouldn’t have her change a thing (if she asked my opinion. Lol) NOT ONE THING! I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Abby is a total Kick butt kinda chick! 💪🏻 In a world where women are viewed as less than, she’s dominated and decimated. Even in secrecy. She can kick booty and take names like no other. She can pound you with pearls on and a pencil skirt. Talk about Cut you with Class!!
She proved to everyone just how tough she is and how she won’t lie down and take what’s being done or allow anyone or anything to break her anymore.
Everything that happened in this book needed to happen in the way, in the order and in the timeline in which it did in order for us to get then ending that Siobhan delivered. I am so happy with the way this ends. I’m excited to know that while we are done with Abby and Kai’s story, we are not done with the world of
Rydeville and those we fell in love with along the way!
I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for “I wanna Jump him Jackson” and “ Serious but Sinfully Sexy Sawyer’s” books!!

#ABBY&KAI4EVER FIVE CRUEL, TWISTED AND SWEET STARS FOR ABBY AND KAI ❤🖤❤!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have to admit that I hate writing reviews for books like this one because I'm always afraid that I won't say everything that is important about books/series like this one, that took my heart at beginning of the story and keeps it forever. Yes, this book is one of those that keeps you awake all night and when you finish it, you just want more and more. You want that series doesn't have an ending because you feel like a part of that fictional family. The first book I've read by Siobhan was "Cruel Intentions". That was the first time that I had a chance to read extremely dark high school bully romance which is definitely not for everyone because the whole series has a lot of triggers but luckily I didn't have a problem with that. So, I can say that the "Rydeville High Elite" series was the reason why I fell in love with dark high school bully romance trope. Also, it was also the reason why I fell in love with Siobhan's writing style which is unique and beautiful that makes you want to read all of her books. And yeah, like I said before Siobhan is the QUEEN for good cliffhangers but she knows how to write the amazing ending. So, this book surprised me in every kind of way and that very important because nobody loves predictable books. I love Abby's character so much. There were moments when I thought she will give up but she didn't. She kept fighting and I'm amazed at her. I'm sure that rarely anyone will stay normal after things that Abby was going through and that why she is so special. She is the character who needs to be a role model to no just every girl but every woman because she showed in these books that women are not weak. Women are strong and they need to be heard out and they also have the freedom to do anything they want. Women need to show the world their confidence, fearlessness, and stubbornness because they are not the picture that man's world made for them. Yeah, I think that is the most important message in this series. Kai. Why can I say about this perfect boy?! Of course, he took my heart but I wasn't his fan in the first few chapters of "Cruel Intentions" but I must say he earned my love with his protective side for Abby in the other two books 💕. His love for Abby is palpable not just in his word and actions. There is so much more than it can be described in words. It just exists. Abby and Kai's relationship wasn't easy from the beginning but they kept fighting through the whole series for their love and they did it. And they got it. They got what they wanted. Because true love always wins. I highly recommended these books to everyone who loves dark high school bully romance because they will keep you awake all night and give you a chance in some new world which will make you forget about your real-life!!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
