Sweet Southern Secrets (Georgia Peaches Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 475 ratings

Dex Mitchell has wanted to play baseball for as long as he can remember. His life was going exactly as it should until a failing grade threatens it all. Dex has no choice, but to go looking for help and where better to look than the quiet girl that sits next to him. If Dex can get her to agree, he might end up needing her for a whole lot more than just tutoring.

Callie Fisher is scared, timid, and being held captive by a night that turned horribly wrong. She's happy being invisible to people around her. Except for the guy that sits next to her. He's always noticed her and now he needs her help. What Callie thinks is supposed to just be a couple lessons in the stars turns into a whole lot of unexpected. Callie never anticipated that agreeing to help Dex would in turn help her also.

These two come together when they need it most, but as the rules change can they still win the game or will secrets give them a loss?

Holy smokes, I have loved this series from the very beginning. Ryder and Grace awesome couple and it continues on with the rest of peeps. Honey, you know how to weave a story/series and keep you interested in the storyline. I simply love how you intertwine all of the characters. We get to know what is going on with everyone else as well as get introduced to new ones. I love the backstory, how they have completely changed their bad ways and now help the innocent but still keep the bad biker man ways. Thank you so much for continuing and I look forward to getting more updates on everyone to meeting new ones like Eli and Sophia. Go get this book people and if you haven’t read any from the series, you need to start with the first one, Ryder and Graces story and the beginning. Oh and the owls...go get to find out what I’m talking about.

I am new to these authors and I have to say I am so glad I didn't pass on this book. This was by far the best romance story I've ever read in a long time and will be definitely adding this to my top favourites to reread. Loved the triplets and their close sisterly bond, and Dex and his boys are funny but hot! And can I just say way a go mom and the professor!! I was really hoping they would end up together and my wish came true. So happy she too got her HEA and can't wait for the next couples book and hope it's Cayden and Maverick next.

I love a good story. The thought of a book about 3 sister was a new one for me. I only read the first story about Callie. It began really really good, graduating, a tragic incident that was thankfully stopped and off to college. The storyline was really good all the way up till she tutors Dex for the first time. Seeing how she is reluctant to ever tutor again or be around men. Callie allows Dex to touch her on the first tutor session. After that the story became really mundane. I hate to say it but this story had so much potential. I did manage to finish reading the story because I hate starting one and not finish it. Unfortunately I will not be buying the next story about the 3 sisters. I think I will look this writer up since it was my first book by this author. I believe one story does not mean they are a bad author. I hope to follow up on the next story with a better review.

Dex Mitchell – college baseball phenom finds himself in need of some tutoring in order to remain on his team and keep his scholarship. He notices timid, withdrawn Callie Fisher in class, and is drawn to her. Has spent enough time observing her to know he wants her as his tutor.
From the first he is protective of her and gentle with her all at the same time. Making her trust him, which is is something she never thought she would be able to do. As a romance between them progresses, a serious wrench is thrown into their budding relationship. Instead of running away from each other the stand by each other and work together to doing what’s best for everyone. There is, however, a secret lurking between them that Callie is unaware of. Once she finds out that’s the last straw. Will Dex let her go forever, or will he fight for their future?

Really enjoyed is first installment of the Georgia Peaches. Looking forward to the next.

Truth be told most College Romances is not my genre of choice, but this story line was unique. I loved the characters and the way the story played out. It had my attention from the first page and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. New author Chianti Summers and her co-writer Colbie Kay know how to write an endearing story. I'm very much looking forward to the next installment in this series from this creative duo!

First book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised I found I was taken from the first pages and as the story went on I was falling in love with with the 3 sisters and the 3 baseball players even good ol momma has a wicked streak. The book is funny and witty but has a slightly darker side in regards to Callie's past. I would recommend reading.

It's not terrible but yet it is so boring. It reads like a teen drama.
    Spoiler alert
The angsty "you lied to me because you didnt tell me" plot line seemed overly fabricated and obvious from the start.
Glad it was free. Would never pay for this.
