An all-new, sizzling romantic comedy from New York Times Bestselling Author Tessa Bailey...

Reese dreams of seeing her name in lights on Broadway, but so far she has only graced the used car parking lots of rural Wisconsin. With her window of opportunity shrinking fast, a miracle happens. She wins an audition with Bernard Bexley, Broadway’s most respected dance choreographer. When disaster strikes and Reese misses the audition, she has to find another way in front of Bernard, otherwise face the disappointment back home.

Following the sage advice of a Times Square Pikachu—Reese seeks out Bernard’s son, prepared to beg for his aid, never expecting mega sparks to fly between her and the gentle giant baker. With Reese’s heart now involved, she refuses to use Leo to her advantage and tries to walk away before her ulterior motives are exposed, but gravity continues to draw them back together…until it’s impossible to stay apart.

But Reese’s lie of omission can only stay buried for so long. When Leo finds out how their relationship started, will Reese keep her ultimate role as Leo’s leading lady? Or will the curtain fall on their real-life fairytale?

The Sweetest Fix was truly delightful.
Tessa Bailey is bringing the dad bod to the forefront of romance and I AM HERE FOR IT! The Sweetest Fix was truly delightful. Reese and Leo's story progression was fast and furious and HOT AS HELL. Reese is coming to terms with her dance career, Leo is learning to come out of his shell as the Mean Baker. So much fun! I'd love to read more in this world if Tessa wrote it.

I'm not a huge fan of insta-love, but as you can see by my 5 star rating I loved this book. Let me tell you why. He is a GRUMPY BAKER and she is a dancer. I don't need to say anything else here right? After reading about all the amazing treats Leo made, I will be visiting the bakery today. Give me all the cake pops.
Reese is about to throw in the towel on ever becoming a real dancer, but when she gets a letter telling her she was accepted to audition for Bernard Bexley, she sets out for NYC only to miss her audition because of travel delays. After almost giving up and a peptalk from Pikachu, she looks up his son thinking he might be able to help her get that audition after all. As soon as she meets Leo sparks fly and she knows she can't use him like that.
Leo doesn't have great communication skills, he's happy being in the back of the bakery and not peopleing, but when he hears Reese's voice as she enters the bakery, he's immidiately drawn out of hiding.
This book was just adorable, and I couldn't help smiling and even getting a little teary at parts. The best part? It was a novella. I love novellas because they are just the right amount of story for me, especially when they are written this well. The only warning I have is that after you read it, you will need to visit a bakery, stat.

Tessa Bailey has become an auto read author for me. I have really enjoyed the majority of the books I've read by her (all but one book). With this one being shorter I figured that I would enjoy it enough, but not love it. But to my surprise I loved this book. I like Reese as a herione (minus all the lies), and Leo was the best. I absolutely loved that he is a big guy ( and not super tall, muscle big, but a big guy), it was so nice to read a book about a man who was so desired and he wasn't ripped. I really enjoyed the relationship between MC, I'm not huge on instalove, and I suppose this was but it didn't feel like it. It felt more like these two people with an intense connection with little time to develop it. It just worked for me. I really enjoyed the premise of this book; the ballet and baking aspect were fun. I liked that this was set around Valentines Day. This book checked all of my boxes. There were some really sweet and swoony parts and even though this bookwas short, but it was quite spicy. Tessa Bailey writes these men who are so grumpy and/or quiet, but then you get them in the bedroom and a flip is switched. Leo was definitely that hero. There were a few things that took me out of the story so that's why it is a four star read for me, but at the end of the day I did love this book and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fairly low angst, steamy, quick read.

"'This is New York City, kid. Miracles happen. You’ll get yours.'"
I wanted to have finished this book yesterday, but the last few chapters had me very emotional. I knew I had to stop reading and maybe finish it in the daylight. That didn't help. I'm a crying mess over here, thank you very much. It's obviously not a sad crying, it's a "I'm so happy I got to read this" crying.
There's a magic to New York, and there's a magic to this book too.

"He was like a walking cup of hot chocolate by the fire."
I connected with Reese right away. She is a dancer who is going to NYC to make her dancing dreams come true, while backed up by her mom. She is driven, she is passionate about what she does, and she is strong.
And Leo... Leo is dreamy. Leo is perfect. Leo is everything. I mean, a grumpy baker, a real man bear, who is caring and loving and sweet... How can you not fall for this?

Also... *nap dates*. N-A-P D-A-T-E-S. Let's make this a thing, people!

Reese misses out on her audition, which was the chance of a lifetime. Not wanting to go back home to Wisconsin, she tracks down the son of the choreographer to ask for his help. But when she meets him, there's this instant connection that only grows the more they spend time together. She doesn't let him know why she sought him out in the first place, and that omission is tearing at her. And then Leo finds out about it...

    "'Forever starts tonight.'"
As I said, I was really emotional by the end of the book, because it feels so real. While fighting for her professional dreams, Reese finds a home. Not only a home in New York, or a home in the NY dance scene, but a home in someone. Someone who is, and will always be, there for her. They are each other's home. And isn't that a small miracle in itself?

Get this book! You won't regret it.

Tessa Bailey is a master at writing spicy scenes, and this book is no different. But there’s very little development of the characters that makes the instalove plot sensible. I don’t care for instalove, but it can be done well. It just isn’t here.

The things I do like are Leo, a pretty good grump who is actually a big teddy bear. And I think the conflict actually makes sense. It’s inevitable and logical. And no one behaves so badly I didn’t want them to be redeemed.

So this book falls into the okay-ish category. Do with that what you will.

Every little aspect in a Tessa Bailey book is so beautifully executed, and this is no exception.
Even in a book where one protagonist is has lied or withheld the truth (which is my second least favourite trope after cheating), I couldn't put it down.
The MC's have depth and strength and passion, and Leo is one of those surprising characters who seems so sweet but has such a dirty mouth. I was rooting for these guys the whole way through.

A moving story of 2 people finding each other in unlikely circumstances & triumphing over adversity & misunderstandings. I was moved to tears in some parts and joy in others.

A very worthwhile read and a great introduction to this author.

This was a good light hearted read that kept me gripped from start to finish. It was definitely a sweet fix. Reese and Leo's story flowed nicely and was well written. This is only my second read by this author and it won't be my last. I like how she wries, the banter is good and chemistry between the characters is just right. Thank you for another good read.

What a sweet read!!! Absolutely love reese and leos story.
