- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2018Swift is Sin's cousin & the one other person who was a survivor when their families were killed. But, she hasn't moved on from that tragedy & when it happened again years later to another fox family it brought all of her fears to head & she been lashing out. So, she decided to leave the tribe before she was kicked out.
Brett is new to the tribe but has a slightly different past tragedy than Swift's but he learned to get past that by living his life because his family hadn't had a chance to live theirs.
Jase, the "matchmaking" Chief of their tribe sent Brett with Noah to bring back Swift to the tribe & as soon as they both came in close contact/scent of each other they knew they were mates. This is the beginning of Swift's & Brett's story.
There was 1 nondescriptive sex scene & because there's not a lot of shifting in this series it almost reads like the contemporary romance books that I grew up reading from Silhouette & Harlequin. So, I can't rate them higher than a pretty good.
