While showing Arthur around they find another body. They help Gwen's friend salve the case while getting to know each other better. Gwen's mother's crystal ball is starting to show things to Gwen. She has never seen anything before. it does have her puzzled. Another great story. It has several threads that make me hopeful that we have more adventures coming.

I received a ARC copy for a fair and honest review. I also purchased a copy through the Kindle store

This is her second book I've read about Gwen and Arthur. I love the storyline of her connecting with Arthur. It's very romantic. Both books were great and I can't wait to read more.

This is such a fun and fact-filled series. I enjoy the characters, especially Merlin the dog. The town sounds lovely and homey.
The mystery is always fun and Hermione makes certain you understand the clues and conclusions. Great fun and the first kiss!

I didn't think a book could be better than the first one in this series, but I was wrong! I couldn't put this book down. I'm in love with Arthur and feel as if I'm related to Gwen. I great, easy read!

Such likable characters in a quaint setting. Lots of suspects to keep a reader guessing and a detective who appreciates the help. I really am enjoying this series.

Blue eyes crinkle behind the helmet of a suit of armor. Then they’re gone.
    A murder.
    A curse.
    A Kitchen witch
This is a sweet story of a witch who discovers the meaning of love and of life.

Another entertaining book in The Avalon Cafe series. Gwen, Arthur, and Merlin discover a body at the Lady Chapel and set out to find the culprit. Figuring out whodunit isn't an easy task as they discover multiple suspects and motives.

Arthur knows he is in love with Gwen but understands she needs time to get to know him before she is ready to take their relationship further. Watching them get to know each other is sweet.

My problem with the story is that Arthur too easily fits in the twenty-first century. I know he has been semi-aware his entire existence but still... For example, doing handyman jobs. He knows how to use the tools and how to fix the problems. He so easily learns to use a smartphone. He is intelligent but everything comes too easy. I wish he had struggled a little more because it would have been more realistic, IMO.

I am enjoying this series and look forward to the next book.

I can't say enough good things about this book. It followed on immediately from the first which I absolutely loved. The characters are soo well drawn I feel like I know them and the development of Arthur is soo warm and respectful and lovely. They feel like a couple I would be happy to know. Thank you Hermione for your wonderful work.
