The Bride, the Baby & the Best Man: She should be wedding dress shopping, instead she's been left holding the baby with a man she despises... Kindle Edition

4.0 out of 5 stars 222 ratings

Faith Bridges should be wedding dress shopping with her bridesmaids, finalising the menu for the reception and house hunting while waiting for her absent groom. Instead she's up close and personal with Harry March - a man she despises - a fractious baby and a four year old diva.

She and Julian may not have had the most conventional of courtships but he’s wise, responsible and utterly dependable. The exact opposite of Harry, who thinks that all he has to do to get her to stay and take care of his sister's children is to tease her, charm her and, when that doesn’t work, make love to her.

It won't work; Faith knows that love is like meringue — all sugar and air -- and she has made a promise that she isn’t about to break. So why does she find it so hard to walk away?

This is enjoyable and quite engaging. Not a steamy novel, yet the heat is definitely there as Faith and Harry dance around each other, the baby, and the little sister. The unexpected bridegroom is a twist, and with promises to keep, the end is not as predictable as you might first think.

This book was a cute romance about two scorned people who find Love when they least expect it. With a resistant Faith and a determined Harry...you get a headstrong couple who get their HEA without compromising too much...

She would do anything for her aunt. Even work as a substitute nanny so that her aunt would get the much needed operation. But she was also in the middle of her own wedding preparations. The man she is helping us also one of her aunt's favorite child whom she took care of years ago. She's had a secret crush on him through the stories told about him. What happens when he finds out the groom hasn't really meet the bride.

I really enjoyed this love story. The bickering back and forth was an added bonus. I would recommend this book to all my book clubs.

Start with an overwhelmed uncle, mix in a domestically disinclined corporate executive, add a couple of beautiful children and you get an almost perfect romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fab read, couldn't put it down.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 30, 2015
This book was great for a freebie, it was a witty, emotional read that had me hooked from the first chapter.
Harry is loaded and been dumped with his sisters kids and is in desperate need of a nanny, incomes faith who is getting married in a few weeks time and after meeting Harry questions her own emotions.
The book follows faith as she tries to ignore Harry who is in love with her and her roller coaster of a few days she spent at Harry's manor.
This book has a sexy heat thing humming all the way through it but the ending is not as predictable as I thought it was going to be and definately kept me reading to the end as quick as I could!!

I always enjoy reading stories by Liz Fielding and that includes this one. I found the attraction of Harry and Faith to each other from the beginning was very emotional. Faith was well named as she was meant for Harry. They both experienced heartbreak in the past. Wonderfully romantic. Loved it.
